To make a long story short they told me I was responsible for the $75 even though I have never used my card and they immediately suspended it the day it was activated. It seems as though they are doing the same thing to a lot of people to get $75 out of them. For everyone that is experiencing the same problem you should immediately contact the FTC (Federal Trade Commision). Their number is 877-382-4357.
You should also go on line and to www.consumerfinance.gov and click on credit card complaints. The FTC will contact Credit One Bank in 15 days from the receipt of your complaint and Credit One Bank has 15 days to respond. If they do not then the FTC does a further investigation. If enough people do this, this company can get fined heavily from the FTC and possibly put out of business. Good Luck to all that have struggled with this terrible company.

I think you need to get a serious reality check, and then take a look at the job descriptions of the people you say are "bad employees", etc.
The FTC is not there to handle individual complainst or to represent you. That is not their job description, and they have no legal authority to do so.
Get some education before spouting jibberish.
And lose the persecution complex. There is no conspiracy against you. You have serious mental issues and need to just get a grip.

I will never understand why people want to be mean and say, the most horrible things to me. The FTC has bad employees who speak very abusive toward people.
Respond to this report! What's this? Are you an owner, employee or ex-employee with either negative or positive information about the company or individual, or can you provide "insider information" on this company?

You are not dealing in reality

found out creditone bank put it back up for collections 10 months after the OCC handled it
First of all you stated you received this card in Feb 2012, it is only March. So how could all of this happen after 10 months when it has barley been a month?
Creditone bank has cost me a home loan and ruined my credit that I had built up,they sent my card to 3 differnt collections agency's
- Credit one is a Sub-Prime card, if you are relying on this card to "build your credit", you are no where near being able to qualify for a home loan.
I also noticed that you said that they sent you a "suspension" letter for "incomplete" information, and nothing about the account being closed. So exactly what information was missing that sent you into such a fuss?
What is the entire story?
Did you provide the additional information they needed so your account can be reactivated?

Like it or not when a credit company has an annual fee and you consent to the terms, guess what, pay up! Closing it on there part requires proper and accurate reporting to the Credit Bureaus.
The OP's complaint may be true on the opening and closing and fee. After that the information gets muddied and sadly people "assume" things without doing the homework.

They simply do not do that.
The FTC does not represent consumers on an individual or case by case basis.
The FTC will simply archive your complaint for statistical purposes for POSSIBLE future action by state or federal agencies, or lawyers in class action cases, etc.
The consumer is responsible for enforcing their rights under any FTC rule at their own time and expense.
The 15 day thing is what really got my attention. Where, exactly did you get that from?
It certainly was NOT from anyone at the FTC.
I have been dealing with these issues for many years and can tell you that the FTC is a toothless tiger when it comes to any kind of actual consumer protection or enforcement.
Better re-check your "facts".
