The question was going to be: I want to know if I could have my headset insurance placed back on my old phone from which I switched back to from my new phone. I like the new phone very much but the sound quality of the phone I purchased before has a much better sound quality than the new phone I purchased. So I simply switched my service plan back to my previous phone.
I was not even planning on trying to send my new phone back to cricket for a refund. I am keeping the new phone to use it's other features like the video camera and the media player. You know before I could get about four words out with my question for the agent, he loudly repeated out HELLO! HELLO! HELLO!, HELLO! HELLO! HELLO!, HELLO! HELLO! HELLO! He yelled out his HELLOs for about 60 seconds then hung up on me.
I know he could hear me well because I had all of my signal bars on my phone. If I was fading out in any case, I would have had 1 to 0 signal bars on my phone because I know how my phone works. Also, every since he had rudely hung up on me, whenever I would dial 1-800-274-2538 I now get a message saying "no agents are available at this time." As long as I have been with cricket, and I mean I have stuck with cricket for a couple of years I never gotten this message when I dialed the 1-800 number.
So he has blocked my number from getting to any other agents with Cricket. I have always been able to call Cricket and ask them for help or questions and it never was a problem before. I was always polite and never rude towards them and thanked them for helping me. I never had any serious or major problems with Cricket. I still like Cricket phone service and it's pricing. However, I feel something seriously needs to be done with that extremely rude agent of theirs when you dial 1-800-274-2538.
I can see him hanging up on me if I was calling Cricket cursing and yelling and being disrespectful. But, I never was disrespectful in any manner when I called Cricket whether they could answer my questions or not. This agent should definitely be investigated and fired. His job is to be a phone operator for Cricket Communications and provide customer service to people no matter how many times someone calls for help and support. Not, to be rude and hang up on them. If he does not like his job than he should not be there!
Give the job to someone who is willing to do it and do it with a smile. Some people want a job and are having a hard time getting one when they have a will to work and appreciate a nice job. He has a nice job and does not appreciate it! He is also getting paid to not do his job, to hang up on dedicated Cricket Customers and be extremely rude to Cricket customers who are investing their money into the company for cell phone service when they could be a Sprint customer or T-Mobile customer.
He is forgetting the fact that without any Cricket Customers he would not have a job as a Cricket agent. He is only making Cricket look bad and thats bad for business when you are supposed to be representing Cricket and you are treating Cricket customers like dirt. His goal should be making Cricket customers happy by showing courtesy towards them. This is how you get more customers.
I've worked places myself serving and helping customers, I was never that rude to people. And I would not have treated him the way he treated me if I was his agent and he was the customer. His negative attitude was very uncalled for on his part. That's all I have to say about that and I hope that rude Cricket Communications agent is reading this to give him something to think about.
