Cross Country Bank Aka Applied Card Systems Ripoff, Ex-Employee info: bad idea for anyone..used to work there Boca Raton Florida

I used to work for Applied Card Systems about a year ago or so. That is the worse company i have ever worked for in my entire life and i am so glad i do not work there anymore. At the time it was a job that made ends meet and was ok in the beginning but the higher up guys in the company do not know how to treat their employees and don't know how to treat their customers. the way they would treat us by threating your job everyday if you dont collect so much was very unbearable to alot of the collections staff.. we always had to meet a quota and always had to make the money.. for what.

we did not benefit from collecting the money from the customer's no bonus's or anything.. yeah in the past we got that stuff but since so many people were suing the bank. the company had to save money some way. yeah i must admit i sometimes would get so frustrated at the customer because you think we are happy calling people up and asking for money.. no i hated calling people.. i know what most of those people were going through because i was going through the same stuff.. i feel really bad for what that company is doing.. it should be stopped.. i would see all the time when new cardholders would call in saying they recieved a bill showing a late due notice and all,, but they would tell me i never received a card or a anything.. all the time that would happen.. or i paid my acct off in full,, but the representive never included that amount in the payoff amount or never said anything about that.. what could we do.. managers would never get on the phone so you think you are talking to a mamger no way you are talking to the rep sitting right beside you acting as one.. that is what we had to do or if we did not collect we were fired and during the time i worked there in florida there were no other jobs avable.. so believe me i understand where all of you who hate the company so much are coming from.. that is why i finally left there.. now i here they closed the boca raton site so there that goes to so you what kind of crumy company it is..
