This company endorses intentional deceiving of customers. As a clear example, several times when I was having difficulties with customers, the sales manager, Damon Darden, told me to tell my customer that we would sell them parts or accessories from our parts department at cost. Later he explained to me how he does this, which is to call the parts department beforehand, and tells that person when Damon calls back to get a price be sure to add 10% to the cost of the item, that way we would still make 10% on that customer. This is a blatant lie and he encourages sales reps to constantly do this kind of behavior.


Damon Darden also sent a racist email out to several employees including myself, which later he admitted that he did not intend to send it to me. The email was entitled, America Without Black People which can be located on the web if a search is done, is a derogatory expression of how bad America would be without black people and how stupid everyone else in America is. I was accused sending that email to a supervisor, which I did not, and a few days later, that email was brought up again and I was terminated that same day. The man is a racist and a hypocrite.

Here we go, again.  If you point out,  how racist black people are.  You get called a racist.  Do they ever say,  anything to the black people no!.  We are no longer,  going to take racist slurs from black.

And stacy you & everyone,  else can call me a racist all you feel like.  And you are,  the ignorant one.  Blacks,  get to keep there job.

All people are,  worried about.  Is putting me down,  about my spelling & writing.  How old Is that.

Stacy & everyone else,  wants to take my right away to speak.  But its not going to happen. 

No I don't like,  black people.  When I haven't done,  nothing to them.  Or when they try to get my mother,  fired from her job.

I just would,  like to bring out how "UNFAIR",  people are towards me.

When you say things agaisnt black people you are consider a racist.   But black employers can discrinmate,  agaisnt us terminate us from our jobs.  But If white people say anything we are consider racist.

But black people,  sure can say.  Whatever they feel,  like to us.  If you'er a white,  employer.  Don't dare fire a black person,  even If they did something wrong.   The eeoc will file charges of discrinmantion,  agaisnt white employer.

And they will,  make sure the white employer.  Pay for there,  damanges lost wages. 

There Is nothing,  but blacks In atlanta.  So a white employee,  filing a charge of discrinmantion.  Will not have a prayer,  to win.

First of all, you are certainly entitled to your opinion; however, you seem to be saying that I am not entitled to my opinion. If you are saying that, then I will sayyou are dead wrong.

Next, the story is offensive because it is a bunch of white people who want to be rid of all black people. If you cannot see this makes a statement, then I am not sure anything else can reveal that to you. Why didnt the author say a bunch of mexian people, or asian people, or anyone else? I can tell you, because the author is making negative statements about white people implying they are racist and haters of other people.

Also, if you do a little research, the email is full of errors. I will post below some of those incorrect statements. For example, would America really have no skyscrapers if there was not elevator? Has anyone heard of stairs? Does that mean if the elevator is broken in a building then no one can get to the top floors? Sounds pretty silly doesnt it? Finally, you can call me a racist if you want, and if that makes you feel better than fine. But, the face of the matter is, blacks are not the only groups of people who have experienced bigotry, racism and hostilities. My point is that this type of rhetoric causes more problems than is solves. If someone wanted to simply express the proud accomplishments of black people to the country, then the email would not have been so derogatory in the beginning. And, this is only ONE of the many examples that I experienced at my former job. This manager is not wrong ONLY for this email, but this email is only one example of the inappropriate actions of this manager.

Read this below and then take pride on the email:

1. There are very few crops that have flourished because the nation was built on a slave-supported system.

**Sure, no one knew or could grow crops in America without the slaves.is that right? The native Americans had nothing to eat because they were so stupid that they did not know how to grow crops.**

2. There are no cities with tall skyscrapers because Alexander Mils, a black man, invented the elevator, and without it, one finds great difficulty reaching higher floors.

**First, Alexander Mils did not invent the elevator, that concept of the elevator was developed during the time of the early greeks. Second, has anyone ever been in a building where the elevator did not work? Were you able to get to another level or did you have to stay on the first floor? Oh, that is right, someone created what someone calls STAIRSthese things lead you to gradually move from one floor to another one. I guess those would not exist in America without the invention of the elevator.**

3. There are few if any cars because Richard Spikes, a black man, invented the automatic gearshift, Joseph Gambol, also black, invented the Super Charge System for Internal Combustion Engines, and Garrett A. Morgan, a black man, invented the traffic signals.

**Wow, the stupidity is overwhelming. First, the automatic gearshift is not required for there to be cars produced; nor is it necessary to have super charge systems for cars to be produced or for them to work properly. Finally, Garrett Morgan did not invent the traffic signal, he got a patent for a type of signal but the traffic signal had already been invented. Dont take credit for more than is owed to him.***

4. Furthermore, one could not use the rapid transit system because its procurer was the electric trolley, which was invented by another black man, Albert R. Robinson.

**Wow, another one.Really? No one would be able to travel quickly anywhere because the electric trolley is the only rapid transit system available.I guess that would be consistent with the rest of this email.**

5. Even if there were streets on which cars and a rapid transit system could operate, they were cluttered with paper because an African American, Charles Brooks, invented the street sweeper.

**Yes, thank god for the black man because everyone else is America is so stupid that no one knows how to sweep the street unless the street sweeper does it for them.**

6. There were few if any newspapers, magazines and books because John Love invented the pencil sharpener, William Purveys invented the fountain pen, and Lee Barrage invented the Type Writing Machine and W. A. Love invented the Advanced Printing Press. They were all, you guessed it, Black.

**Yes, I like your view of history..so I guess you are assuming there are no written documents before the pencil was invented. Have you ever heard of the bible, Homer, Tacitus, the dead sea scrolls? I guess those documents are impossible because there was not pencil sharpener. Oh, by the way, the question applies to the fountain pen. Finally, W. A. Love, invented the Advanced printing press..does that mean you can print anything on the original printing press..which was not invented by a Black Man?**

7. Even if Americans could write their letters, articles and books, they would not have been transported by mail because William Barry invented the Postmarking and Canceling Machine, William Purveys invented the Hand Stamp and Philip Downing invented the Letter Drop.

**It is again funny to hear your version of history.so, there were no letters sent between people before William Barry? It is a good thing the black man was brought over to help with rest of backward America.**

8. The lawns were brown and wilted because Joseph Smith invented the Lawn Sprinkler and John Burr the Lawn Mower.

**Assuming you are even correct in the people who invented these items, here is another example of everyone is ignorant except the black man. Very niceI can see how you are trying to bring people together with this kind of talk.**

9. When they entered their homes, they found them to be poorly ventilated and poorly heated. You see, Frederick Jones invented the Air Conditioner and Alice Parker the Heating Furnace. Their homes were also dim. But of course, Lewis Lattimer later invented the Electric Lamp, Michael Harvey invented the lantern and Granville T. Woods invented the Automatic Cut off Switch. Their homes were also filthy because Thomas W. Steward invented the Mop & Lloyd P. Ray the Dust Pan.

**Willis Haviland Carrier invented the Air conditioner. Zachariah Allen is the person who invented the furnace. Next, Lewis Latimer (check the spelling, you have his name spelled wrong) did NOT invent the eltric lamp. He was responsible for an improvement to the eletric filament in the eletric light bulb.not the same. As far as Granville Woods is concerned, he made contributions much more significant than the automatic cut off switch. Not to mention he was 7 feet tall. Thomas Steward did NOT invent the Mop, he invented a different design for a mop. Lloyd Ray did NOT invent the Dust pan, he made improvements to the dust pan. But, it is a good try to give credit for an invention to someone who did not invent it.**

10. Their children met them at the door-barefooted, shabby, motley and unkempt. But what could one expect? Jan E. Matzelinger invented the Shoe Lasting Machine, Walter Sammons! invented the Comb, Sarah Boone invented the Ironing Board and George T. Samon invented the Clothes Dryer.

**LOLyou guys are so funny. First, Jan E. Matzelinger invented a machine that sped up the production of shoes..not the invention of shoes. So, children would be barefooted? How stupid would you sound if you really said that? Next.the comb? Dont you know there were combs in ancient Egypt? Sammons may have created a variation of a comb, but not the comb itself. Again, here we have a problem.Sarah Boone created an IMPROVEMENT to the ironing board, she did not INVENT the ironing board. And finally, like the others, George Samon developed an improvement to the clothes drying..not invented it. Gezzzz.if you are going to show how stupid white people are you really need to get your fact right..it just makes you look stupid too.**

11. Finally, they were resigned to at least have dinner amidst all of this turmoil. But here again, the food had spoiled because another Black Man, John Standard invented the refrigerator.

**And sadly, here we have another example of a silly person giving credit to a black man for inventing something he did not invent. John Standard did create an improvement for the refrigerator, but he did not invent it nor would that have caused all families in America to go hungry because they could not keep their food from spoiling. Gezzzz.if you are going to show how stupid white people are you really need to get your fact right..it just makes you look stupid too. Now, isn't that something? What would this country be like without the contributions of Blacks, as African-Americans? Martin Luther King, Jr. said, "by the time we leave for work, Americans have depended on the inventions from the minds of Blacks." Black history includes more than just slavery, Frederick Douglass, Martin Luther King, Jr., Malcolm X, and Marcus Garvey & W.E.B. Dubois. PLEASE SHARE, ABUNDANTLY

Maybe we should also consider the tone of emails such as this since we are talking about a group of white people who wonder what the world would be like without black people. Interestingly, it would also not be as dramatic as stated in this email. I would like to ask.is this what it means to embrace black history? Is this the message you want to communicate, that white people, and all other people who are not black, are stupid and here comes the black man to the rescue? I thought it would be better to bring forth this kind of information in an interesting and respectful manner. If I started an email that spoke of America without white people; and started the email by telling you about a bunch of stupid black folks were swinging from trees..would you care what the rest of the email says? Why dont you think about it.

That EMail was not Racist`

How do you come off saying that email was racist?  I read it from top to bottom, and all it did was comment on the accomplishments that Black People have made to society over the years.

I am white, and I was not offended by this article at all.  I did not find the document saying anything derogatory about white people at all.

I am surprised the article did not Mention Dr Charles Drew (Another Black Man).  Here is a exerpt about him

Dr. Drew also established the American Red Cross blood bank, of which he was the first director, and he organized the world's first blood bank drive, nicknamed "Blood for Britain". His official title for the blood drive was Medical Director of the first Plasma Division for Blood Transfusion, supplying blood plasma to the British during World War II. The British military used his process extensively during World War II, establishing mobile blood banks to aid in the treatment of wounded soldiers at the front lines. In 1941, the American Red Cross decided to set up blood donor stations to collect plasma for the U.S. armed forces.

After the war, Charles Drew took up the Chair of Surgery at Howard University, Washington, D.C. He received the Spingarn Medal in 1944 for his contributions to medical science. Charles Drew died at the early age of 46 from injuries suffered in a car accident in North Carolina.

Here is a copy of the document for all to read.  Come to your own conclusions America. 

America Without Black People A very humorous and revealing story is told about a group of white people who were fed up with African Americans, so they joined together and wished themselves away. They passed through a deep dark tunnel and emerged in sort of a twilight zone where there is an America without black people.

Four people were killed in that car wreck in San Diego. They were in a Lexus. You can listen to the 911 conversation while they were accelerating, out of control. Make sure to listen to what the other Toyota owners said about their vehicles too. (I believe one of them owns a Prius. One owned a Camry. The other owns a Highlander.)

I will certainly say, what you are describing concerning the actions of the EEOC ingoring complaints made by non-black people certainly seems correct to me.  I filed a complaint and it took them months to get back to me and then said I need to send them more information.  How many months do you need to have my complaint before you decide, oh this is a white guy so lets put it on the shelf and do nothing.  Thank you very much Johnnie Barrett of the EEOC, you are certainly showing these people are correct in what they are saying.

The eeoc will make sure to,   punish white employers for discrinmantion.  If you have a complaint,  agaisnt a black employer.   The eeoc will ignore,   your complaint.


The eeoc will make,  sure to FINE.   The "WHITE" employer.   And the EEOC will DEMAND,   that the "WHITE" employer.   Give all the lost,   wages & for pain & suffering.


To black people.   But do "WHITE" people,  get their lost wages.   And money for (MENTAL ANGUISE),  & pain & suffering.   Or wrongful termination money.   NO WE DO NOT!.

EEOC wont do their job!!

This is the problem with the EEOC....I HAVE filed a complaint with the EEOC.  It was filed in March or April of 2008 and what happens?........NOTHING!!  I have called them a dozen times trying to get an update on my complaint.  I sent them, 1. a list of complaints I sent to upper managment which included inappropriate comments to employees, degrading talk, discriminating actions, retaliation....and of course, nothing was done by upper management, OR BY HR!!  NOTHING!  2. I sent to the EEOC the email that Damon Darden sent to multiple people in and outside the dealership which was entitled "Ameical without Black People"  This email explained how everyone in america are morons except for black people....for example, americal would not have buildings higher than on story because a black man invented the elevator.....which is not true by the way.  3. The multiple times I called HR about issues including that a black female stormed out and quit, complained to HR and got her job back.....I was terminated for being "disrespectful" after I brought up an issue with the racist email. 

The person at EEOC, Johnnie Barrett, is in charge of my case.  She never contacted me.....except one time....a few weeks ago....in DECEMBER!!  That means she received my information in April and has not requested "more" information until December....which is probably so I could not respond fast enough and so they can drop the issue.  I am having the problem with the EEOC not doing their job.  So, I guess they dont like to deal with a situation of a black man descriminating against a white guy.  I guess that kind of descrimination is OK. 

So, if anyone has any suggestions about what I can do more than what I have already done....which is send the EEOC a bunch of information and they do not seem to be willing to do anything, then please let me know.  You can leave a post or you are welcome to email me (((Redacted)))  thanks!

North Carolina is a right-to-work state, which means the employer doesn't need a reason to fire you. However, it sounds as if you have a good case of discrimination (or at least a hostile work environment). PLease conisder calling the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in Raleigh and see if they can help. If they investigate your case and find you were right, you can sue for damages (I think).
