On November 13, 1999 I bought a used vehicle at Crown Toyota 1201 Kettering Drive, Ontario, CA 91761. The vehicles engine mechanically failed in operation on 03/17/02, and is in need of replacement.

I appeared in person on Saturday 3/23/02 to file a claim for my vehicle repairs to be covered under the extended warranty contract purchased with Crown Toyota. My claim for repair was declined due to an error made by Crown Toyota when preparing the vehicle contract I was told. The contract in my possession clearly indicates payment made for this coverage. The extended warranty contract coverage terms are as follows; Engine replacement coverage up to 75,000 miles from the date of purchase or 72 months, whichever comes first. My vehicle repairs should be covered by this agreement.

I was told that they made a mistake and that people make mistakes and that's just too bad. I was constantly given the run around everytime I tried to make contact with their customer service manager. I was told he was out sick, out due to a family emergency and so on. Crown Toyota went as far as going to the repair shop where my vehicle was stored at to assess the repairs and still declined to perform under the contract. The customer service at Crown Toyota sucks!

Their customer service manager used loud voistrous and obnoxious language, swearing and so on to my boyfriend on the telephone. I want everyone to know how bad the treatment is at Crown Toyota and let the World know that they should never buy a vehicle from these snakes! I want them shut down!

This is an act of bad faith on their part to not honor their contracts and therefore makes them in breach of this contract as per the terms noted. It is not my fault or problem that their employees prepared the documentation incorrectly. Besides, how could this be incorrect if I paid for this coverage? I understand this is a business scam. I also have been told that the owner is John Salta and just so happens to be the name of the business Atlas (Atlas is Salta spelled backwards) Dealer Services with whom my extended warranty contract is with.

To resolve the problem, I want my engine replaced at the shop I originally took it to. Not at Crown Toyota. The shop I had my car at doesn't even trust them to make payment. I want the $5,000.00 up front to take care of the engine replacement.
