No matter what company you work for certin areas of this country call for a certin type of trailer and if you dont have that type of trailer your either stuck sitting or your going to DH out of the area. Prime example is FL if you dont have a refer your pretty much out of luck. Thats not to say you cant get lucky and find a load with what ever trailer you may have, im just saying you cant hold the company responsable for that. On Malones load board it actaully gives you a heads up before you even sign in on what areas to avoid taking loads to.
Last but not least i am fairly educated myself however my spelling is teriable and on my tablet i dont get spell check, spell check is not part of this website its actually part of your browsers features. As far as the spelling and gramer in this report english is not the person who wrote this reports first launguage and as such becomes very confusing to read.

Original Report:
when i first least on with crst they told me 177.mile back and fort you are lucky if you got 105.a mile and they take of 25%of that they have a inventure making up stupid surchages wich i never heard about i own my truck and trailer and still cant make $600.00per week and i do run they coat you a price and then when you recived your check is about 20cents less own the load you have to dead head 200and plus miles for a load with your own fuel and the miles they coat are off by 80 to 100 miles offI WILL NOT HAVE MY WORST ENEMY WORK FOR THEM

"When I first least (LEASED) on with CRST, they told me I would earn 1.77 back and fort (per mile for all miles). You are lucky to make 1.05 a mile and they take 25% of that.
First off, They advertise 75% of the load revenue to the truck (76% if you pull your own trailer) which works out to an AVERAGE of 1.65 per mile plus FSC (if the shipper is CHARGED for the FSC).
Nowhere does it say "paid for all miles".
The 25% they take is off the 100% of the load revenue, which leaves you 75% of the loads revenue if you use their trailer.
"they have a inventure making up stupid surchages wich i never heard about"
-WHAT???
-They have a (what is an "inventure") making up stupid surcharges which I never heard about.
Not sure what you are trying to say here.
Did you read your lease contract?
All charges, fees surcharges, benefits, allowances, rules, obligations, etc are spelled out in the contract.
If you don't understand contractual language, take it to your attorney and get his learned opinion.
"i own my truck and trailer and still cant make $600.00per week and i do run."
-Is that Gross Income or NET Income?
"They coat (QUOTE) you a price and then when you receive your check is about 20 cents less."
-Less than what? You mean that they are off .20 on your settlement, check your report. Maybe you missed something or are you the one that is off.
"own the load ? you have to dead head 200and plus miles for a load with your own fuel."
(They told you that when they advertised "75% on LOADED miles) you have to assume there will be deadhead. I asked and they said 10 -12 % annual deadhead. 10 - 12 % of 100k miles is 10-12,000 miles a year.)
"and the miles they coat (QUOTE) are off by 80 to 100 miles off."
- Off of what? What are you comparing to? On what distance?
Everyone knows "HHG miles" and "practical miles" have NEVER been accurate with the odometer (which generally is calibrated up to 10% high and counting miles faster that you drive them).
- Short by 8-12 %. "HHG" is closer to "as the crow flies" and practical miles is closer to actual miles but not quite. However, there must be a happy medium between what a driver says he drove and what the company says he should have driven to get to the same place.
The company should not be paying you mileage for the missed turn that caused you to drive an extra 10 miles out of route or bob-tailing to the store or the mall.
