Not really sure how to respond to this. Reno a ghost town? Business is booming! I would have to believe this statement is coming from one of our competitors that is not doing quite as well as us!

This customer brought their vehicle in to us to get the windows tinted and was given an estimate (quote) of $180.00 over the phone, to tint their complete vehicle with our high quality lifetime warranty window film. It is standard practice for us to ask each customer if their car has ever had window tinting on it, unless it is a new car. We were told by the owner that she didn't think so! We were very busy when this vehicle was dropped off to us to tint, so we didn't have a chance to check it first. When we pulled the car in to tint it we noticed that it had tint on the entire car! We contacted this customer and informed her that there would be an extra charge for removing the old window tint, and that it was necessary to do so to be able to put darker tint on the car. We normally charge around $100 to remove old tint from a car, but we discounted it to $70 because it was a surprise to the customer that it would be an extra charge to do so. She agreed and gave us permission to continue. She seemed very happy with the tint job that we did at CUSTOM CONCEPTS. Please notice that this is the only complaint about this happening. We only charge extra if there is additional work that needs to be done. Not just because the car was more difficult than expected. I guess after 14 years in business in Reno your going to get a frivolous complaint now and then. We do not rip anyone off! We are extremely fair with our pricing and customer service!
