Cybercoders called me for the job listed below. I meet this criteria nearly 100%. I took the day off from my current position losing 140.00 for the day. Prepared for 2 days investigating the company, learning about what they do , how they do it. Just as much as I could to prepare myself for the interview.

I dressed in a suit and drove 30 miles to the interview. The position was for a warehouse worker. No shipping and receiving position existed. I called Cybercoders and Talked to Elizabeth and she would not even talk to me. It was a total lie and and it cost me time and money for a position that did not exsist.


Job description for the Shipping & Receiving Manager position:

Shipping / Receiving Manager

Are you a degreed professional with 5 + years experience in transportation and warehousing in the metals industry? If so ... read on!

We are a cutting edge steel fabrication and construction company looking for an experienced department manager with shipping receiving and warehousing experience.

What you will be doing?
Staff management and supervision.
Produce bills of lading, invoices, orders in a timely matter.
Determine shipping priorities, work assignments and shipping methods required to meet production schedules.
Work with drivers to ensure materials are loaded correctly and determine routing and legal load limits of trucks according to established schedules and weight limits of states.
Inspect loading operations to ensure compliance with shipping specifications.
Supervise the department and make sure subordinates follow standardized procedures, resolve grievances and do performance reviews.
Work with Shop Supervisors to ensure the overall performance of the shop staff.
Train new Drivers/Forklift operators.
Maintain Safety program and weekly meetings.
Inspect all loads prior to shipment .
Maintain al certifications of specified equipment.
Ensure that safety and proper maintenance of equipment is adhered to.
Maintain DOT information on Drivers and the company voluntary and DOT mandated drug program.

What you need for this job:
A four year degree and transportation experience.
Experience in the metals industry specifically steel fabrication.
Solid experience in outbound freight and negotiating with freight carriers.
Dynamic, proven leader with the ability to effectively motivate staff
Able to work in a fast paced environment
Excellent organizational skills
Strong Verbal and written communication skills
Able to work in a potentially stressful situations
Bi-lingual preferred
