One of the many services that Fenton Davis provides is light mechanics.  He dropped one of his customer's transmissions off the stand, so he came to us to fix what may have been broken.  We found the problem and repaired it for him.  Since he was a friend of a friend and in a bind with his customer, he was only charged $150 instead of the usual amount that would be charged to patch a transmission. 

When Fenton showed up to get his customer's transmission he handed the technician a wad of cash, loaded the transmission, and drove away.  When the cash was counted it was only $80.  A quick phone call to him verified that he owed an additional $70 and that he would bring it the next morning.  He said that he would definitely be back, and that he didn't want to burn any bridges.

Two weeks later, still no Fenton.  He got paid from his customer, but never paid the guy that did the work for him.  
 
Beware!!! Not only is he a second rate shade tree mechanic, he's a liar and a thief as well.  Would not recommend ever doing business with this man.
