In 1998 my three young boys were taken away from myself and my husband.Never to be the same again.At the time my sons were 13,7.and 1&a half.after a long and battle we not only lost our family but it put us so far in debt that it is 2011 and we are still trying to recover.
My now son of 21 is permently disabiled,his older brother is drinking himself sick,and to top it all off the baby then will be 16 years old in two weeks but we can never see him.
He was put up for addoption after four years in foster care at the age of 6.I can not get past this it is like a part of me is missing never to be seen again. In December I can't eat,sleep or even think for that matter.I know now that what they did to my family was not legle,nor was it humane. I am a Grandmother now and it is like I just can not get out of 1998.
My Grandsons are the same age that my youngest son was and it takes everything I have in me to get through a day with out thinking any minet that Dcfs will come and steal the incent life again.

Shame on you .You know verry well that CPS & DCFS is only in the bizz to make money just like you work to make money,you may not be currupt but Cps & DCFS are!!!!

Can I say to all who are judging. You don't know what you are talking about. How do you randomly throw out mental illness. Are you a Dr. of Psychiatry? You are only showing how ignorant you are. DCFS gets money from the feds when they place children in homes. Thousands of dollars. So the children most easy to place are those from good homes. This is a government crime that is rampant in the US and around the world. I feel for this Mother and Grandmother. The courts are doing horrible things to our families. In divorce Children are given by the courts to the abusive parent all the time. Mothers who are who were the primary care givers are treated as criminals for reporting abuse to DCFS or the police. If you are in a situation were your spouse is abusing you or the kids and you report it you will loose your children. Do a little searching on the internet before you through out accusation.

With the rebuttals. I work with family's that are involved with DCFS or CPS and have never seen them "take" a child that did not need to go into fostercare. I am sorry that you or your own children were not able to care for the kids, it sounds like there are some mental health issues that need to be addressed to move past the events and it sounds like those same issues contributed to the kids being placed in a home that care for them.

What's this? OF COURSE she knows why the children were taken, and her parental rights terminated. This process does not happen overnight, and she was most definitely advised by her court appointed attorney as to everything that was going on for the entire period, usually 6 - 12 months or more.
Good grief - this happened 13 years ago !!! And, NO, DFCS will NOT take the grandchildren, unless the same thing is happening that occurred 13 years ago. And, DFCS did not STEAL your children then. Something VERY bad must have been happening for them to have to remove them from the home, and you know EXACTLY what it was !! Try improving yourself and your life and maybe the future will be brighter for all involved.

This happened 13 years ago so there is a reason your parental rights were terminated! And you have no idea what the reason is?? There is so much more to this old (and I mean OLD) story than is being said.
