Your clients may have been admittedly "stupid" but you EX-EMPLOYEE'S are NOT! No matter what name or alias you come up with, we always know it's you.
Please do not be so bold as to speak through "Jerry", "Michele", "Joseph", Sherri or whatever personality of yours thats dominant at the moment on your EX-EMPLOYEE's behalf. WE (your ex-employees) are JUST AS PISSED as your ripped off customers aka "members".
While you may not have taken our money.. well.. um.. ok, you DID subtract money from each employees paycheck in the form of MEDICAL and DENTAL insurance premiums that were in actuality not paid for 3 consecutive months and thus cancelled for delinquency. Remember? Our medical coverage was cancelled without our knowledge? In all fairness, we did have a little knowledge of cancellation beforehand. Two employees were made aware of their policys cancellation LITERALLY DAYS before they incurred TWO MAJOR INSURANCE CLAIMS. One for a major scheduled surgery made known to you MONTHS before the actual date of surgery. The other one (again in all fairness) could have been an honest mistake on your part. You really were never in the office much so we can see how you could have missed A FULL TIME EMPLOYEE's pregnant state thus working 40 hours a week till her due date to ensure the coverage of the impending BIRTH!!! You DumbASS!!!
Lets now address your statement about your employees "milking" you. THANK GOODNESS you had a department Manager willing to pay your employees paychecks out of her OWN PERSONAL BANK ACCOUNT as not to be screwed any further by you and/or "the company"!!!
While your past travel staff does feel a personal responsibility for (in hindsight) not seeing the obvious signs. Such as, never allowing the travel staff and sales personnel to ever speak about business or come together or work together in any way, shape or form. We see now that if we were ever allowed to come together as one, we would discover the methods, wording, sales tactics, promises of "discounts", etc. they (the salespeople) were making to everyone that came in the door. In their defense, slimy as they may be, the sales staff never fully knew the extent of the LIE they were selling. They only sold what they were told to sell by you; never understanding that the travel department could not possibly fullfil the ridiculous requests coming in at rediculous "pricing" they were quoted in the first place. We made our own personal decisions to stay employed with DGT however, it does not make anything you did right.
So please do not post anymore rebuttals in the form of an "Ex-Employees" testimony claiming that you, Peder Seglund, were the most "wonderful boss they ever had". Besides making us ill, I can say I have more important work to do now that I am not under your employ any longer. Cut your losses, end this thing once and for all and remember the old addage "what goes around comes around" and boy we hope you are prepared for that day.
