Cash Central is an on-line payday advance company. I am a "premier" member which is their category of their best customers. I made a loan (I make regular loans with the company) and did not realize that the on-line calendar provided on Cash Central's website may sometimes pull the wrong date off the calendar. I always make loans and of course take the maximum number of days to repay (this has always been my pattern). This recent load was made on September 3 and the due date that appeared on it was September 12. My paydays are every other Friday and my paydays for September were Sept 5th and 19th. After reviewing a confirmation email that was sent to me, I noticed the error and immediately emailed Cash Central back on Sept 4th to report the error and request a correction. I received no return contact, not until after 2 more emails and then finally on Sept 7th an email was sent to me saying that they could not "refinance" my loan. I tried to explain that my request was for a correction not a refinance. The online service person claimed that she had emailed me earlier with email which offered a 2 day extension or rescinding the load. This is an email I never received. I had indicated to the service person that if I had received it I would have certainly responded. The service person did have a copy of her email to me but no confirmation that the email was actually successfully transmitted or received by me. For such an important email, and especially to a "premier" member of their service, making sure I am contacted with such an important message seemed a "no brainer" and since the offering of rescinding the loan is among the best practice and ethics code of this industry, one that should have been confirmed. The result is I was not allowed to correct the date or rescind the loan. This means that the loan is due on a non-payday and will now force me to contact another loan source to pay off this loan Cash Central, even with its best customers, do not take care of its customers and do no make sure that they are following their own best practices and ethics.This is the worst abuse as the company cannot even admit it may have made a mistake. As seniors we are powerless to contest unless we can gather together to make it known so businesses like this will not be able to continue to advertise service and yet abuse its best.
