DISH Network Rude, Obnoxious, Cheap, Money-hungry, Liar, Inconsiderate Internet

DISH Network's service was not satisfactory. We told them our initial issue with Direct TV and they said we could get their service no problem.
When we called DISH to create an account we told them that Direct TV could not install their service because of line of sight issues due to the hill behind our house. DISH assured us that they could install their service because they have more satellites in the sky. They charged us $125 up front to get the service turned on and that included our first month's bill.
On January 1st, when they were supposed to show up between 12 PM and 5 PM, the technician didn't get there until a little after 6 PM and he could't install the service with the equipment we signed up for. He had us call DISH and explain it to them and the technician said that he had the better equipment in his van that he could hook up as soon as they approved it on the computer. But DISH said that we needed the High Definition Equipment and in doing so we would lose our local channels.
We got transferred on to about 7 different sales representatives about this issue. One sales person said that it would cost us $23 more on top f the $125 we already paid to get the HD equipment put in. We said that the fee should be waived due to the
inconvenience they had caused us. They kept transferring us and the next few people then told us that it would cost us an additional $149 on top of the $125 that we already paid; not $23.
They would not waive the fees or give us any kind of discount even though we had to change our night's plans due to them inconveniencing us. The sales people were rude and obnoxious and claimed they did not have the number to the main
office. We told them that it was not our fault that they sold us equipment that would not work for us; we told them our situation over the phone when we first ordered their service. We feel that we should have gotten our DISH service installed with no extra cost due to the fact that they showed up late, sold us the wrong equipment, and were rude. But they would not let us get that.
