I am an online e-Avon Representative I was contacted by someone named Donna Will with a rather large order I told her in my email's to her that i would have to have the money first or a deposit, I was sent a check for $3,850.00 by a Kathryn DCamp 2997 Walnut Ridge Dr. Ann Arbor, MI.48103-2193 Donna Will emailed me telling me that her employer had mistakenly sent me all of the money  they owed her, that her baby was in a coma in the hospital & she needed the rest of the money asap so she wanted me to cash the check take out the money for the AVON order, & wire the rest to a Daniel Wright in Delaware, so i took the check to my bank asked them to check it out for me, that I thought it was a scam, they did & called me back & told me that they thought it was a scam also but it hadn't been reported on the place that scam's are reported to,so they are sending it back to me, so I can send it to her,

so I decided to check things out  myself & the check was drawn off of a Wells Fargo Bank in Charlotte, NC & the account was real & was Wake Forest University so I called the University this morning & found out from their bookkeeper it was a fraudulent check. So i emailed this Donna Will today & told her about it, I haven't heard from her as yet. But it Just has to many people involved & in way to many states, & I stuck with a AVON order of over $600.00 with tax the order was delivered to me today, I do thank God that I did not send Donna any money & I did not cash the check O send her the merchandise.

Same Thing with Pampered Chef

AUTHOR: Josh - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, October 31, 2012

My wife sells pampered chef and got a request from a "Donna Will" for an almost $700 order. the address she requested to send to was 362 S Lucas Ave Eagle Grove IA. My wife had me look into it. I looked up the address and it came up as invalid on both the postal service website and the Wright County, IA website. I then checked Ripoff and found this write up. "Donna" said the payment would be coming from her employer who owed her money. BEWARE if you get a similar request. it's a RIPOFF!

Check Scam

AUTHOR: Kate - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, October 20, 2012

I can confirm that this is a scam, because my name was used as the sender on the express mail envelope that the check was sent in.  I have no relationship with or involvement in this scheme, the perpetrators just stole the postage charges against my personal credit card and then used my name and address as the sender.  I know about this because about 7 envelopes (so far) have been returned postage due to me.  I had to cancel the credit card and have turned in the envelopes we received to the postal inspector.
