Mind you I am a young adult seeking a good career oppertunity, so plenty of scam sharks are just waiting for people like me to take the bait. I called the number and at first the guy almost sounded surprised as if he was unaware there was a posting on craigslist.
He stressed he wanted to meet with me the same day, which was alright, other than the fact that I had to drive 3 hours in rush hour traffic just to get there. When I arrived, dress and tie appropriate, all I did was fill out a form with my name and address. I gave the recruiter my resume, and was told i did not have to fill out a good portion of the application considering the information was already listed in my resume (weird...) Next we walked into his office which seemed very empty consisting of chairs on each side of his completely empty desk.
The recruiter asked me why I sought the position and I explianed that I was in dire need of a career change. He skimmed my resume, and then that was it. I was hired, given a business card, and told training and orientation would begin the very next day. Still empoyed at the time, and very unhappy, I quit that same day...BIG mistake. As I arrived back home to review the info I was given I noticed that the recruiter's name was hand written on the buisness card (your telling me the human resources guy doesn't have a business card with his name on it?!) I found that very strange.
As I did some more investigation I looked up the company website: www.drhinc.net only to find an excuse of a blogging website. It was at this moment on, and from further investiging reports about kirby that I realized that this oppertunity was a complete scam, and waste of my time, and what sucks even more is that now I am completely out of a job. If you see an email like this on craigslist be warned. I advise you to read the reports on Kirby before entering the doors of DRH Enterprisess. Your fate, and job is on the line...
