DSL Extreme is not what its states

Not very fast for being a DSL service, just a little faster than Dailup.

I canceled due to a number of problems but the fail nail in the coffin was the pricing.

They state one price and like a Dummy I paid a year in advance to get a lower over all price. After the year was almost up they came back and stated a balance was due and the price will being going up Almost double in price. So I cancelled and return their modem as requested. After a while they stated I never returned their modem and will be billing me on top of the other charges in question. [continued below]....

Lucky they record their phone calls, after a number of calls and requests in writing they failed to show why a balance was due. After talking to a number of people I requested a floor supervisor pull the phone recording and play it for himself. At that time they backed off the over charges but refuse to back off on their modem (which I have no use for) and return any over payment . The new service supplied their own modem and I had my own Router.   I refused to pay for something I returned so they sent it to a bill corrector and they have been hounding me ever since.

Reasons I cancelled

1: Slow speed

2: Pricing is not as stated

3: Tried to bill for more then was stated at end of contract

4: Service was down far to many times

5: Help line was slow and over 50% of the time useless

6: Tried to charge me $100 for a $20 modem that I returned

7: After a number of years they are still trying to get that $100.00

8: They state a Free modem but its a lease, look at the fine print. 

9: They refuse to refund any over payment

Once again DSLExtreme is not what they state

I'm confused, if you cancelled my service March 7 but I'm paid untl June - why do I have only until April 6, to return a modem (that I never used in the 1st place because I had my own wireless modem) ??

DSL Extreme is not what its states

DSL Extreme is not what its states. Not very fast for being a DSL service, just a little faster than Dailup. I canceled due to a number of problems but the final nail in the coffin was the pricing.
