DTE DTE ENERGY ripoff! PAYING FOR HOME PROTECTION PLUS AND GETTING NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Detroit Michigan

I have the DTE home protection plan for all my applicances at this time. My dishwasher broke a few months back and DTE sent out someone within 2 days to fix it. The guy stated that he would have to come back with parts. After 2 weeks, he did come by with parts and stated that the parts they sent were broken so he would have to Re-order them. They he stated that he is not going to come back because DTE only pays him from coming out once. I called DTE and they stated that they will look into this issue and probably offer me a "buy out" of $300 for the applicance that is not fixable. 67 days and 53 phone calls later, DTE has still resolved this issue.

After getting put on hold for 15-20 every time you call them, they say the same thing...."we are still reviewing this". DONT use this DTE protection plan, it is a RIPOFF and no customer service to boot. My friend just canceled with them last week due to a similar issue with his 10 year old furance.
