DVD Donkey - Tvdvdworld.tv Ordered "Get Smart", got 22 discs - 8 are OK and not duplicates. Got "Gunsmoke", "Spenser For Hire, "Murder She Wrote" Internet

On June 29, 2008 I placed an order for complete DVD sets of "Get Smart" and "Gomer Pyle". On July 3, I was notified that Get Smart had been sent, but it was not shipped from Canada until July 12th.

On July 18th I called to say I still had not received it and wanted to cancel Gomer Pyle. I did get to talk with a lady that day and she wanted me to wait until I received Get Smart in case there was a problem before they would refund any money. (This was the only time I was actually able to speak with anyone.)

When I finally received Get Smart, one disc was blank, 3 discs were identical "Gunsmoke" episodes, one disc was "Murder She Wrote, and one disc was "Spenser For Hire".

Six of the discs were duplicates (3 sets of duplicates). Some discs had episodes that also appeared on 4 other discs.

Of the 22 discs there are only 8 discs that are not duplicates and seem to be pretty good, although one that we watched all the way through got stuck at the same place on the last episode and wouldn't go any farther.

A couple of the discs were loose and scratched.

These were gifts for my nephew who teaches school in Kenya, East Africa, and he was only with me for one week, so he only took a few of the discs with him.

I tried to call the number they had listed and was on hold for 15 minutes before being disconnected. I then tried to email them but the letter never went through, so I tried again a few days later and the same thing happened.

I tried calling again today and the phone call wouldn't even go through.

Every day (6/30/08-8/1/08) until I finally cancelled "Gomer Pyle" I kept getting an automated message that they were expecting a shipment within 5-7 days, and that my credit card had NOT been charged. They did charge my credit card the entire amount for both as soon as Get Smart had been shipped, however.
