DVD Donkey Probably gave my credit card # to another company. Amsterdam Internet

I ordered the Gargoyles TV show from DVD Donkey to be sent to the US for a family member and kept getting messages that it was in back order. When I decided to cancel it after a week or two because it was taking too long, I got all kinds of strange symbols on their site which made me suspicious so I tried to call, which made me even more suspicious.

Then I googled their name and got lots of reports about how bogus they are. I told my bank about the problems with this company and about the reports but they said they couldn't do anything because in essence it was paid. Not even their fraude department was willing to do something to stop the charge without the cooperation of DVD Donkey. I was thrilled to hear this as you can well imagine.

I tried again to cancel the order and finally got confirmation that it was cancelled. Less than a week later when I went to use my credit card, my bank had blocked it. When I called to ask why, they said because a large electronics purchase had been made in Newark NJ. and since I live in Amsterdam in the Netherlands they denied it. They then issued me a new credit card number. The fraude department believes me now and thinks the incidents are related. I think so as well.

DVD Donkey is basically scamming people, so be very careful and also let your bank know so you don't get ripped off by them passing your credit card number on to some of their bogus friends.
