Daily Money Team poses as a work at home call center. They post ads on Craigslist and other sites saying that you can work at home at your leisure and there are no startup costs. You would only need to take inbound customer calls of people online signing up for trial offers on the internet and you have posted the advertisments online. They even drop names like Walmart, Target, etc. as being the companies they advertise online for. IM SURE THESE COMPANIES WOULD BE SUEING IF THEY KNEW. SO,the pposition sounds good enough? Well, I signed up with them and went through their orientation process where a lady walked me through the orientation, she wanted me to type in all my basic info (name, address, etc). THEN, I was advised to fill out 3 or more of the many trials offers we supposedly would be helping customer with myself (to understand what our clients would go through) with my credit card, then call her back and she would credit my paypal account with $3.00 so that there were no startup costs. WAIT A MINUTE. Why do I need to give my credit card info just to see what a customer goes through??? I MEAN REALLY?? At that point I realized it was a SCAM. If you are training me for a job, I shouldnt have to use credit card at all. THEN, you will credit me back??? WHY CANT THEY JUST PUT THEIR CREDIT CARD IN FOR TRAINING PURPOSES. I refuse to give my info based on a "promise" to credit me back. I went back after we got off the phone and changed all my personal info to a phony one so they wont have it. I am not too worried, because they only had my name and address.
I did my own search of reviews on the company and people who actually went thru with the orientation and filled out these trial offers and they complained of being over billed on their credit cards. or not cancelled from the trials and being billed MONTHLY. I CANNOT believe there is a network of thousands of people scamming people out of their info everyday. People are unemployed desperate for work and these people are taking their money!!! SHAMEFUL.
Oh, and dont trust their YOUTUBE vids giving them good reviews these are SCAMMERS who work for them that were asked OR PAID to post youtube videos to promote the company. YOUTUBE is not always a credible source. There are thousands of paid by advertiser videos out there to get people to buy.
I am writing this, because I cant imagine someone like a single mom or elderly person being scammed. Its a waste of your valuable time.
The girl who did my orientation even told me she was using GOOGLE VOICE to call me. That tells me that's not her REAL number. Google voice is an app anyone can sign up for, its a forwarding number for your actual phone number. Its free and allows you to change your number and have your number not available to be tracked to the people you call. Ive used this number before, its great if you are a woman dating (for safety), scammers, business owners and anyone who may need ot just change their number at the drop of a dime. SO, ANGIE ELLIOTT is probably a fake name she gave me too. lol.
A lot of scammers are trying to convice people that they are legit by saying I didnt and other people didnt follow the steps to succeed with their company. Of course, you arent going to give your credit card info to anyone. That's a step I refuse to follow. That's not a job, its a scam.
