This is a copy of our Better Business Bureau and FTC Complaint Against Danskin, Inc:

3.Problem:We spent around $300,000 with this company Danskin. Come to find out, they had billed us for goods without our permission to our AMEX card, and that were never even delivered should this billing even have been justified in the first place. The company also send us an entire shipment of terrible, terrible clothing merchandise as they were doing our production. The clothing was falling apart at the seams without even the least attention paid to any quality. It almost seemed intentional. When confronted about the damages and unauthorized billings, the company never got back to us or responded to emails. Turns out they were in bankruptcy. This fraud almost destroyed our entire company, and being that we have a brand that competes with Danskin...we can't help but think this was intentional in putting us out of business. With all of the financial fraud that occurs in the US, large companies like this should be held responsible, and we are willing to do whatever it takes to obtain satisfactory action against Danskin. The total amount of unauthorized billings is around $80,000, billed to our AMEX card. The amount of total production damages is $300,000.   Complaint BackgroundNot all of these questions are required.  Please provide as much information as you have.1.Product/Service Purchased:Manufactured Clothing Inventory  2.Model Number:n/a  3.Contract, Account, or Policy #:n/a  5.Purchase Date:10/15/2008 6.Date Problem First Occurred:10/15/2008 Dates you complained to the company/organization7.First Date:12/15/2008 8.Second Date:12/20/2008 9.Third Date:12/25/2008 10.Payment Made:Yes11.Payment Method:Credit CardName of Sales Person12.Title:Mr.13.First Name:Al  15.Last Name:Aikman  17.Purchase Price:$300,000.00  18.Disputed Amount:$300,000.00  Desired OutcomeEnter your DESIRED OUTCOME below.
