I was dining at a restaurant on Atlantic Avenue and utilized the services of Dave's valet located adjacent to the restaurant "32 E." the valet service stole my radar detector. When I have alerted the owner of the company he could care less. The police were notified. The police confirmed the theft but the owner of the company refused to make reimbursement. I no longer utilize their services and suggest that no one else does.

The police confirmed the theft?

AUTHOR: Robert - ()

Please explain just how they "confirmed" the theft?  Did they take an inventory of your car before you dropped it off at the valet?  Did they watch your car the entire time and when you got your car back they immediatly took another inventory?

No...what happened was that the police actually confirmed that you reported a radar dector missing.  Because the police have no proof, other than your word, that you had it when you arrived.  Where unless one of the valet's confessed to taking it the police also have no evidence that this company had anything to do with it.

Oh and you say your word is good enough.  Okay I am going to go to the police and on my "word" I am going to say that you took 50,000 from my car and I want you to give it back.  What do you think about that?
