i went to david barrett to modify a mortgage that i was not able to pay anymore because the mortgage company incorrectley modified it the first tiome to the point where it was again unaffordable. i gave barrett all my info and a fee and he claimed that this was going to work and would just take time. this past week i went to his office to take care of an issue and he was gone and i was told he did not pay his rent and was evicted. i called my mortgage company and the house is currently in the foreclosure process which barrett said would not happen. it is not foreclosed or any sale date yet but now i am scrambling on what to do and am in a real bad spot because i listened to this fraudulent criminal. he is nowhere to be found did not contact us about a new location and is unreachable so it is safe to say that his fee is gone from me and so is the hope that my mortgage will be fixed. i did not think he was a con artist and believed that he would fix this problem that i had but now i want to find him and bring him to justice.
