David Charles, ripped me off for $3,995.00. His website should be called LOSING vs. winning with Coastal. And his headliner should read: Hey there! Do you have money you would like to just THROW AWAY? Or GIVE it to any of our directors? Because, no one is actually HELD RESPONSIBLE for their actions with Coastal Vacations. We advertise, give you false hope, all along with the intention of just STEALING your money!!!!!

I had frequent contact with David Charles since March, debating whether or not I could "afford" to purchase this package. He convinced me that I couldn't afford not to! So, I took out a loan from my bank for $3,995.00, had a check made payable to David Charles, POB 233 Laveen, Arizona 85339, and had my bank send it directly to him. I emailed him to make sure he got the check, he said, "yes, and my secretary deposited it today.... you should be receiving your package within 7 days!" That was on June 29th.... today is October 28th!!!! Its going on 4 months....I never received a package, he won't return my phone calls, or respond to any emails I have sent him. (He is alive and well, I had someone verify that for me.)

Now,I have ANOTHER bill that I am paying now for, $190.00/month on a loan to my bank and have NOTHING to show for it.

Why doesn't Coastal Vacations hold him accountable? I know in the end, the FEDERAL LAW will ; )

I just wanted to say that I love my Coastal Package, and there are many wonderful Directors who work their business with integrity and passion. I talked to a Fed. investigator about another "Bad" director, who took a ladies money in Nov. It is now February. The website to report Fraud, with the FBI is: www.IC3.gov This is prosecutable, it is too bad that some create a cloud over others that truly Love what they do! (I would give the other "Bad director" a name, but I want jail to be a surprise. She has been given every opportunity to make things right also. The website above is real. Perhaps if enough dishonest people go to jail, the rest of us can enjoy a very lucrative and fun HBB.. Good luck to you Heather, Hope this helps!!!

So mr Brian C from Toronto, exactly how long have you worked for or been a member of Coastal Vacations liked you claimed in your title? Sounds to me that you in fact have no insider information other than reading everyone elses posts. Before you get diarreaha of the hand, I suggest you research your facts a little better. Seems to me all you are doing is cutting and paisting your un-educated and ingorant posts all over the place. I've got news for your Mr business major, every business in the world is a praymid! People at the bottom work to make the people at the top rich. There is a little ecinomics lesson for you (ahhh).So before you rant about things you know nothing about and risk defimation suits, I would make sure your facts are very accurate. I don't know or care how things work in Cannada Ahhh, but here in America we have laws to protect our consumers, and our corporations!

Coastal Vacations provides one of the most comprehenceive training programs avalible, and trys to properly train all their directors before they allow them to sell. But with well over 1 million directors, it is not as easy as it would seem. As with any multi level company you will always have good ones and bad ones.

I have been a coastal director in TN for over nine years, and have provided many families with the oppurtunity to take vacations they normally could not afford. And I have helped many finance their packages, and a couple have defaulted on their payments. If you read the form provided by coastal it clearly states if you miss your payment you default on the terms and agreement.

The coastal vacation package is what you make it. It is not a travel agency!! You actually have to do some work on your part to take a vacation at up 75% off retail prices. If you don't want to do that, simply do not renew your membership and try a travel agent and pay full price. Some people are just not cut out to save money.

I have made an honest living with coastal for many years, and now get most of my business from refferals, which of course you know could not happen if I had dissatisfied cusomers. It's time people start taking accountablity for themselves and stop blamming everyone else for their problems.

David Charles added insult to injury

On November 7, 2006 I added an update to this rip-off report stating that David Charles finally sent my "Level 2" package. It turns out; he only sent me a Level 1 package, which only cost him around $250 dollars. I paid him $3,995.00 for a Level 2 package. He thought he would get away with just that. Now, today I received a letter from the Arizona Attorney Generals Office with his "response" to the claims I have filed against him. He blames the shipping center in Florida. He states, "we have never had a shipping complaint yet..." and some other allegations that he shipped my package 3 times! --Yeah right! He provided NO supporting documentation along with his lame, poorly written, response letter to the Attorney General. Also, WHY doesn't the shipping center in Florida have ANY record of my Level 2 package even being ORDERED by David Charles? Hmmm... Could it be that he just kept my money? Logically, if a professional company as the one in Florida that ships for them, has NEVER received ANY complaints (his claim) would have an outstanding database repository that tracks and logs all orders to be sent out to consumers ensuring all orders get to the right place. Again, Hmmm.... It just doesn't make sense, does it? I stand by my initial claim; David Charles is a THIEF and a LIAR!

En este Post la afectada refiere que un Director de Coastal Vacations (no la empresa en si) no le envio su Paquete Vacacional de Nivel 2, habiendo ella enviado el cheque para tal efecto...
Luego amablemente una Directora le sugiere los canales para reclamar contra ese Director Fraudulento, a lo cual ella agradece el interes mostrado para su causa y aclara que, despues de 5 meses este Director acusado ha enviado el susodicho paquete, quedando todo resuelto entre ambas partes, ella incluso a que esta feliz con el producto...
Al final hay una persona que postea un coemntario sin bases y muy desinformado acerca de Coastal Vacations tildando de PIRAMIDAL la empresa, cuando todos sabemos que no se maneja ese esquema, hasta malogra la integridad de ANWAY empresa tambien respetada y de muchos ade transparente gestion, en fin, nunca falta quien da denigre por el solo placer de hacerlo y sin bases contundentes para dar esas declaraciones.

Coastqal Pyramid

Having read, at this point, several negative responses to the so-called "Thriving" wealth provider that is Coastal Vacations, I can't help but reflect on the saying, "There is strength in numbers."

You see, when one-person voices an opinion it becomes an isolated incident, when two-people voice an opinion it becomes heresay, but when more than three-people voice the same or very similar concerns it becomes a conspiracy. In this case a conspiracy to commit fraud. Rest assured though, the proprietor of this scheme has done his/her research and has found the appropriate legal loop-hole that leaves the losing purchaser in endless distress. These findings are no doubt passed on to their henchmen in an effort to establish a larger customer/clientelle base and thus increase the size of an already deep pocket. The only concilation that we may receive is from a spiritual standpoint. Knowing that the false God these scam artists worship will no no doubt leave them burning for eternity when the bell tolls.

We can also make a comparison to a well known scheme that can be successful to those who find the proper "suckers" to recruit... AMWAY, a.k.a. InterBiz, a.k.a. Superior Products, aka... Coastal is a Pyramid. Everyone at Coastal is a Director, the firest Director recruits his/her team who in turn recurit their team who in turn recruit their team and so on. There are some differences with the arrangements between Coastal and AMWAY but the system of operation is quite similar, PYRAMID.

Money is a necessity in life, it is our food, our shelter, our clothes and our transportation, but very few of us have the disposable income required for a scam like AMWAY or Coastal Vacations. Not to say that this will not work, but these individuals bank on their purchasers giving up after a short period of time and relinquishing their money to establish themselves again in the real world.

PLEASE DO NOT FALL PREY TO SCAVENGERS, YOU WILL ONLY LOSE YOUR MONEY AND FUEL THEIR FIRE!

Hi,

I am reading all these stories, I am just sitting here looking crazy. I have had nothing but success with Coastal Vacations.

I qualified my first week and got into profit mode. I work very close and one on one with my team and new business partner's in my Coastal Vacations Business.

If this happen to you and you felt you were ripped off then If you paid the money and did not get your package, you must contact the Board of Directors and file a complaint.

I know how it feels to get ripped.. Been there and done that. I think the key with anything is do your research and join a good sponsor.

Thank you so much for your advice. I really do appreciate that you took the time to offer me your guidance on this matter. If you are an employee of Coastal Vacations, they need a whole lot more employees like you!

In addition to this blog, I filed a complaint with the BBB, the States Attorney General's office (in Arizona), and the Federal Trade Commission on this matter, against David Charles and his lack of integrity. Additionally, I prayed for him. So, from one source (or another), David Charles finally (after 5 months of no contact) decided to do the right thing and mail my level 2 package to me. I just received it a few days ago.

So, if I am satisfied with the product, I will find a director (with integrity) who is willing to mentor an eager employee. Thanks again! God Bless ; )

If you paid the money and did not get your package, you must contact the Board of Directors and file a complaint. Hopefully, this will help you get either your package or your money back.

ROR deletes email and phone numbers, but if you go to the HowToCorp forum (do a Google search) and post that you need information on contacting the Coastal BOD, then I will get the information to you.

I'm sorry this happened to you and hope it will be corrected soon!
