David was a music producer he just never worked with signed artists. He promoted performers and all of them were before IDBM because your going back to the early 90's, 80's and 70's. People just don't know what David does. David does not make money off his events he does take fees to help the cost of the venue that go directly to the venue. He does not need a business because all he does is give his own money and promote those organizations. He can't take money for them because he can't cash checks in their name. He never said he lived in mansion or owned the cars. He posted pics of him at house parties and showed pics of him test driving those cars. I know there are haters everywhere but if anything you said were true the police would be arresting him for fraud. Since this never happened I take it you have a personal problem with David.

The man who owned the Simon Levi Cellars is not from Israel, he , the founder and namesake WHO left his homeland of Bohemia (then part of Austria and later Czechoslovakia) when he was 12. He arrived in the United States in 1863 at the age of 12..he would have been born in 1851. and 100 years old in 1951. David Harrison Levi claims this was his father but I do not see how this is possible. This man would have have been 100 years old in 1953. It doesn't add up. I did a search as Smitty asked and I'm am just as curious as the next person, I am not trying to discredit anyone, But I could not find anything specifically on his father Simon Mayer Levi, except a few jewish familial records. The man ran a wine business in SanDiego, not Beverly Hills or even Los Angeles. Confusing.  David claimed his car, A White Rolls Royce was used in the movie Pretty Woman, I DID A SEARCH FOR THAT CAR and   I found out that it was a ROLLS ROYCE SILVER SHADOW With Moon Roof. Greetings, I have not been 'Ripped' off by Mr. Levi, but I feel I need to shed light on this person for what he is doing. He is not listed on IMDB. I contacted several people he "said" he knew, they never heard of him. But the reason I am upset with this person is that I feel he is using 'Charities' to promote himself and his events, that obviously he is making some money on. In my opinion, this is sick, and the lowest someone could go exploiting charities for personal gain. I researched him, and his facebook, myspace, etc. too and he contradicts himself over and over again. He says that his event benefits a certain charity, then he says they are not fundraisers but to bring "awarness" to the charity. Basically my opinion is that it points to possible fraud using a charity name to mislead people thinking that it is for the charity so they will attend his profit event. I contacted some of the charities and the ones i spoke withy never heard of him. I even looked into it more and found out that he was using these charities to gain notoriety by This again in my view is dispicable and beyond reproach. So what about David Harrison Levi Enterprises LLC? There is no LLC according to my research. It may be an out of state LLC but it still needs to be registered as a foreign entity in the state of California. I did find a listing of a D. Levi company of America(Corporation) that was suspended in 2007, where a D. Levi resigned, this could be him and this is the only record I found. From my other reserach, there is no record that I found of any business license in Los Angeles or Beverly Hills. This brings up a point that any money that is made may not declared or recorded, or there is any paper trail of any donations to any of the charities he proports to be helping. In my opinion, this could constitute some sort of a tax evasion too. Basically, I feel that there are many questionable activities going on with Mr. Levi and deceptions that really need to be looked into. He is "shady" at best. I hope that other members of Ripoff Report can do their own investigation and find answers.

My name is David also, you that know me know I wear my sunglasses all the time. I met David some time ago and I feel somewhat responsible for the comments left by the original report. As if it wasn't for me, this report would have never been filed. I befriended David on my Facebook page and the person who I think filed the report got very upset with the name Starmaker. As A joke I told a few people that David Harrison Levi was the grandson of the Levis Strauss Company, not knowing anyone would take this seriously, it was a total joke and the person knew it so did everyone else!

As for the Starmaker thing, David told me it was a nickname given to him when very young, so why shouldn't he use it! As to who owns the name Starmaker, who cares. It's just a nick name!!! I have never seen David Harrison Levi talk bad about anyone, nor does he at anytime use his position to get girls that is a ridicules statement. The person who filed this report is somewhat jealous of anyone who try's to get ahead in life, including myself or anyone they come in contact with.
