David Hoke with National Mortgage License Number 300893, who is a mortgage broker with First Main Street Financial crossed the boundaries of professionalism and ethics when he maliciously entered an Appraisal that came in Low and killed the transaction that was in place with his buyer into the FHA Database. By doing this action, he made it impossible for the seller of the property to resell to any buyer who was using an FHA loan, which 90% of all buyers are using FHA financing in Southwest Florida, Lehigh acres, Cape Coral, Fort Myers, and Bonita Springs. Because the mortgage broker was not going to get his money, and he lost face with the buyer, he decided to do a childish act and "get back" at everyone else. The buyer, sadly went on to purchase another property with a highly respectable mortgage banker in town, who is also a direct lender just like Main Street Financial. [continued below]....

If you are getting a mortgage or looking for FHA financing, or USDA financing, or 100% financing in Lee County Florida, Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Lehigh Acres, Estero, or Bonita springs I would suggest you stay as far away from David Hoke and First Main Street Financial. The utter disrespect David Hoke has for HIS CLIENTS, and the business world are shameful. I would also say that the entire loan process that David Hoke carried himself very unprofessionally. It is sad that today there are still David Hoke's in the mortgage business, but we can always hope they will go away as the market continues to go through this roller coaster. NEVER, EVER USE DAVID HOKE TO GET a MORTGAGE!!

The "sour grapes" report from this consumer regarding David Hoke is simply an uneducated consumer targeting anyone in their crosshairs for revenge for an event beyond the control of David Hoke or any other Mortgage Broker in the business today.
The fact is that appraisal companies are contacted by the loan processor when an appraisal is requested for a new mortgage on a purchase as in this circumstance. The mortgage broker may have no contact whatsoever with the appraiser at any time before, during or after the loan process.
This malicious and obvious character assasination of a licensed loan officer represents nothing more than an angry homeowner that doesn't want to understand that the appraiser is highly regulated in his profession and could not legally provide an appraisal that was in agreement with the sale price which caused the transaction to become null and void.
Maybe this homeowner would have preferred to use an appraiser that would provide a bogus and illegal appraisal just so he could have received a higher value than the home was actually worth.
Too bad; all those appraisers are out of the business now.
Your entire complaint revolves around an appraisal that David had nothing to do with. Shame on you for writting this nonsense just to make yourself feel avenged.
