In an industry littered with despicable fly-by-night scam artists, Davison has taken to bringing legitimacy to this industry. ABOUT ME I've always been a creative person. I began inventing at an early age, leading me to pursue my first invention shortly after graduating college in 1987. I had what I thought was the best idea, but I soon found myself asking the same question most inventors do - what is the most economical way to protect and develop my idea into a product. After spending more than $30,000 dollars through a two-year period, I finally finished a working product sample of my idea. Before I could even get my product in the hands of a corporation, I was beaten to market by a major company, armed with more money and resources than I had. I was devastated, and broke. I vowed to make it my mission in life to help inventors pursue their ideas with the least risk possible, and develop a process that will integrate a new product into an existing corporation's product line. And so in 1989, I incorporated Davison and invented the Inventegration process, which is the foundation of the company today. Today I employ more than 275 InventionmenR, the men and women who assist inventors and corporations through our organization. We have 110,000 square feet between our two Pittsburgh, Pa., locations and design and develop more than 200 new products each month.

THE IMPORTANCE OF THIS WEB SITE We as a company initially chose not to respond to complaints on this site. We found many complaints were non-factual, subjective and unprofessional. Over time, I realized that our potential consumers, competitors and inventor groups were using this site to damage the company, my reputation and our brand. I promise that our company will continue to adapt to our customer feedback while working with the Rip-Off Report to respond and work to resolve all matters. Prior to 2000, customer satisfaction services were not centralized, which led to inconsistent results. The company has centralized its customer satisfaction services under one compliance department to ensure that all customer issues are handled as consistently, fairly and completely as possible.

OUR SERVICE In this letter, I want to clarify what we do for our clients. After we establish confidentiality, our client hires us to search patents and the market to provide research information to them and the development team that will be assigned to their project. They also sign a contingent fee agreement for us to represent them to a corporation. If our research determines that we can physically design a working product sample, then we present our design service options and fees to our client. Client input is provided to the development team and there are specific stages where the client must approve our work before moving on. Once the sample is complete, our licensing team presents the product to a corporation for potential licensing. If the product is licensed, our team works with the corporation to make any design enhancements at no cost to the consumer, as well as manage any future royalties if the product is sold in stores. If the product is not licensed, we can repackage the sample for a modest fee and present it to additional corporations. This is Davison Design and Development's exclusive Inventegration service.
