We had been traveling all day and was very tired when we stopped at the Days Inn in Bristol, TN. My husband was not feeling well so he went right to bed. The room was filthy!! There were paper particles on the floor so I knew it had not been vacuumed. I found a sucker stick on the floor in the bathroom. I pushed the button on the smoke detector and it did not work. The bathroom was gross! I opened the small refrigerator and there was MOLD all in the bottom and around the edges. I wanted to wake my husband up and leave but didn't want to bother him. I never mentioned it to the staff when I left because I wanted to report it to the head quarters of Days Inn. I would have never in a million years swam in the dirty pool they had. We are going back to TN. in the Spring and I will NEVER stay at this motel again! I even slept on my beach towel because I was afraid the sheets weren't washed.
It was a horrible experience. I am suggesting that you never stay in this place. It is definitely a rip off!! Disgusting, filthy, GROSS!!!!
