DealDash.com is a Penny auction site that the purchase price for an item increases by a penny for every bid. A consumer has to purchase bids,  at which I had purchased mine for $0.17/bid. The bidding is set against a timer counting down from 30 seconds, then to 20 seconds, then finally to 10 seconds until there is no bid given when the timer runs out. On Saturday, 11/4/12, I started bidding on an Acer Iconia Tab 10.1-Inch Tablet (NEW), with a buy it now price of $589. During the bidding process, the timer was on the 20 second timer. The price was at $7.75 and I was the last bidder when the timer hit 0, meaning that I had won
the auction at that price. To my amazement, 26 seconds after my last bid (6 seconds after the timer had expired), another bid was allowed continuing the auction.

I contacted the company via email (contact us link on the website) on 11/4/12. There was no response from anyone at the company for 10 days.

working with dealdash

AUTHOR: nancy - (United States of America)

POSTED: Sunday, December 23, 2012

I joined in late Oct. and had no problems until late Nov. The they started and most were with the clock on the bids acting up and with crashes.

Some things were correted.  Some message to them not answered. In fact I have one from Dec. 5th that has never been replyed back to me and iv sent it about 6 times regarding a bid I won and then the winners name was changed.

They have put on more people to answer messages sent and I have found one person who always seems to have the answer and help I need so I kept that email and reply to it with other problems now. They are not able to help all the time and that does get frustrating. But some help is better then none like in the pat

Now they are having problems getting gift cards won and  Buy it now items out to the consumers, and I saw a note in there that it was the supplier becasue of so many wins to deal with and the gift cards wont be sent till about Jan2. There goes the christmas ones I was going to use and now had to buy gifts instead after tieing up  my funds paying  DD.

I dont trust the bid pages after studying them for days and even weeks now. It seems to me there are bots  bidding also! Iv lost a win when hitting my bidbuddy and it takes a bit for it to work and then the someone else wins? If your useing bidbuddy your bid should be up there after any other bid is made no matter what...

This thing abhout reporting it to the  BBB will do no good or they would be taken down long ago

I enjoy the way things are set up for bidding there after looking at several other  penny auctions, joining and finding them confusing to use.So, I am very careful when I do bid in Dashdeal....

DealDash is the Longest Running Auction Site of Its Kind

AUTHOR: DealDash_Adam - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, December 18, 2012

I'm sorry that you're not satisfied with your experience on our site. I was able to find your account information and I can see that our customer support team has spoken to you a number of times about this issue.

As we've explained to you numerous times, all the rules and regulations that govern our auctions are readily accessible on our website. These rules clearly explain how winners are determined in our auctions, and you agreed to abide by and respect these rules and regulations when you joined the site.

I'm sorry if you do not feel as if though these rules should apply to you, but it would be unfair to the DealDash community to excuse you from them. With that being said, we have taken considerable steps to try and address your concerns. In addition to being credited with the bids you used in this auction, you have been issued a full refund on your initial bid pack purchase.

If you do wish to pursue this matter, you are always welcome to contact our customer support team. They have contacted you about this issue before, but they are always willing to continue to address your concerns.
