Debt Relief USA Ripoff Dishonest Fraudulent Debt Services ripoff Addison Texas

I heard about this company on the radio, (06/05/2006), they said i could eliminate my debt and pay only a fraction of the cost of my credit card debt. I originally talked to a : Mike Reilly, who set me up with program. I signed some paperwork from them which i totally did not understand and call Mike numerous times about the contract and he said it was just a standard contract and to just sign it so they could start collecting from my bank account right away to get my program started.

I have the contract, bank statements and the letters from the collections agency if you need them. The total amount i was to pay was 8064.00 to complete their program. He promised me that in 48 months my debt would be gone, Period. I have paid this company for 11 months at (168.00 per month) and i get a summons from a lawyer from my credit card company saying, they want money from me to pay my debt owed to citibank. i then forwarded the summons to this debt relief company and they said all is okay and they would take care of it.

I was told not to talk to anyone except them. to ignore all calls and mail. i then get a call around the 5th of June 2007 by a debt relief representative, and was told to call this citibank collections lawyer to make arrangements to pay them. and that debt relief could not help me anymore. i asked them to give me a refund since they did not help me with this matter and they refused. they said the money i sent them was their fee for their counseling.

i paid them 1848.00 for no service what so ever. my contract with them was for 48 months and i was only with them 11 months. and they charged me for the full 48 month contract, which i feel is very unfair and possibly fraud on their part. Can you help me?
