After months of problems, we finally got an ADT person to come to our home to see the system and they had us disconnect the system because it was intalled so poorly he told us it was a fire hazard. The wall units are loose and the system has never functioned properly. After many, many calls, I was finally able to speak with the local Defender Direct manager on his mobile phone and he laughed at me arrogantly and told me that they are not planning to fix the system and we will never get our money back. The ads show the ADT logo and next to it they print the words Protect Your Home with no logo or trademark or any other way to suggest it is the actual company advertising the service. The font makes it look like a marketing suggestion and not the company. Very Deceptive! Very unresponsive! Stay away from these rip-off artists to avoid the headaches and wasted money we have incurred.
