after getting an advertisement in my sunday paper from protect your home an autherized a.d.t. dealer,it said $99 of equipment will protect your entire house and $35.99 a month was the monitering fee.i thought wow thats a great deal.so i called them up and gave them my card number over the phone for the installation fee.

about 4 days go buy and sure enough the guy showed up on time, but i was expecting an a.d.t. truck but he came in a white acura.even though he was a clean cut young man and verry neat,i was expecting an a.d.t truck and that through me off.i asked him to sit down and explain the system with me and my wife but he told me that they should have explain all of the details over the phone to us.i told them they did but i have some more questions.he then began to take my computer modem apart and totaly disreguard me and my wifes questions.

we left him alone so he can complete his work and we figured that he was verry busy and we would call the company if we had more questions.after he finished the install he all of a sudden was in a happy and talkative mood.he then told me that my house wasnt 100% covered and i have alott of weak spots.i asked him how much more it would cost me he gave me an estimate of $3200.that angered me and my wife.i asked him can we take some time to think about it he said ok.

2 days after the installation it wasnt working. we called everybody but no one could help us. finaly they gave us the installations managers phone number preston taylor and after the fourth time we called him he cust, yelled, and screamed at me and my wife calling us idiots and he was coming to our house and rip out the system.he was rude and never showed up.

i tried to fix the problem myself by going online and order the parts. when i saw how cheap the products was online it blew me away.they wanted $209 for a motin detector and online it was only $13.and everything else was so affordable, but they tried to rip us off as soon as they got a foot in the door.the old bait and swich.

finaly i called up a.d.t. and they took care of everything even the equipment i bought online and the a.d.t. tech said thats protect your homes entire operation is to trick us into buying things that we dont need.im 83 years old and my wife is 76.we live on a budget and for them to try to scam us is heartless...thank you a.d.t.
