Delta Moving Services - Precision movers Inc Victims of Delta Movers/High-jackers hunts point New York

We started trying to negotiate with them via phone and email. I was unable to talk to them because the emotional upset was beyond what I could handle so I talked with Susan through emails. I remembered that we moved out of a Motel and had a camera in use at one time, so I told her that the truck,men, everything was on camera. From that email Susan began to come down dramatically on the price of $15,000 to $7,500. Till my negotiations were done we had to pay them an additional $5,400.

On June 11th they finally were able to deliver our belongings (or what was left of them) after many days of saying they were on the truck and would be there. When they came we had a police officer present to witness the cash transaction. After everything was off the truck we were missing  a new 32' flat screen HD Phillips TV, an antique reproduction cabinet my son made,  $1,000 sewing machine cabinet, red hand dolly, all our garden tools,angel garden statue, 1 box of curtains and bedding. What items were delivered were not in very good shape. My 1975 collectors scooter was all smashed up and don't work, the filing cabinet was broken beyond repair, a box of antique dishes that I specially packed and marked as extremely fragile were mostly all shattered, as well as many more things.One of the men(Gilad Ankari) who did the unloading made us tell him the make of our air conditioner before he would unload it even though it had our sticker number on it.

We have called and talked with Susan now at least 5 times about our missing items she keeps saying:" in another week or so when i get time I will look and call you back". Its been over 2 months since the delivery and no co-operation from Delta.

The next part of this ordeal is the emotional trauma and stress we have had to live through. I almost had a nervous break down and had to quit my job. My blood pressure ran out of control for almost 2 months. I can not even tell you how many days i spent crying and being on-line trying to find someone to help us. I literally have spent months now making reports and making complaints on various web sites against Delta Movers.

Financially we are in ruin. We haven't been able to pay our bills with the debt that's being deducted from my husbands paycheck. We had to seek out the help of local charities to keep our electric from being disconnected. I am unable to afford medicines I take for my asthma.

Before we got our belongings back we had to live on borrowed twin beds in an empty house with nothing to cook with, only a few clothes from our suitcase. It felt so horrible not to be able to sleep beside my husband in bed at night.I went to yard sales and some kind hearted people gave us a lamp and a toaster, just a few things to make life easier till we were able to recover.

While I have been seeking help for our ordeal I met more people who have been a victim of Delta Movers and we are trying to help each other, to put back the pieces of our lives. I feel bad when I first spoke with them to hear, that some of them have been through even worse than my husband and I! This company has been doing this for years because they keep changing their name like they change underwear. They have left a long trail of devistation."I am begging you to help all of us get our lives back and put an end to letting this happen to other families!!
