I would like to make this clear, this is a sales position.  Dempire Management is contracted to sell DirecTV within the region.  The entry level position (and all the way up) are the individuals you've possibly seen in your local stores saying, "Hey! Have you heard about our great promotions with DirecTV? COME CHECK THIS OUT!!".  That's this job.  The job it self isn't difficult, aside from you having to smile constantly while recieving the cold shoulder with a few rude comments.  But thats part of the job.  Lets get to the issue now that your up to speed:

The hiring Supervisor (also owner and manager of this office), Daniel, is a sales man through and through .  He'll spin his wheels to make you believe anything.  The biggest issue I've experienced, and many have and will soon im sure, is that the pay system isn't 'spelled' out correctly.  He says you'll recieve either commision or base pay.  Which ever is higher.  I'm sure base pay is generally around minimum wage, and is negotiable.  What he doesn't say, is that he does NOT comp the difference whenever commision doesn't surpase your minimum required 'base pay'.  

He ADVANCES the difference. I'm sure this is in the employment contract we all as individuals sign when we take on a position, but who reads all that.  He knows this, and obviously doesn't choose to make it known.  In addition, he gives the best case senerio when it comes to per contract commisions.  I'm hesitant to use numbers given that they could change, but I'm going to so as to make this clear.  He says you'll recieve 105 per contract, but fails to mention there is three pay scales.  Contracts are pro-rated, you'll recieve either: 50, 85, or 105.  He only mentions the best case.

Sales are feast and famine.  Thats how sales jobs work.  Meaning you'll famine,  He'll pay.  You'll feast, He'll take back.  For him it is win-win. He has it worked out where he makes money off of you whether you sell or not (within reason).    

In essence he Mis-Represents the job, and more specifically the pay scale/system.  This is EASILLY the most important part about a position, and therefor needs stated clearly and concisely.  Don't let him mislead you, know that the door to that office is always in motion.  An Honest business man would be able to keep a staff, he cannot.

This is basicly a modern pyramid sceem that trys to make u believe u make 1000 a week w 8 sales in and you will get your own office in fact Daniel (the short balding man that was refered too previously) yes the owner has not ever promoted anyone out successfully and will screw u out of any and all bonuses he promises the so called paid training is realy what they call a claw back u pay all ur minimum wage back out of any sales u get there is no way to get a head w this lying peice he.will lie to reps and customers alike dont ever do business or work with these lying people no one has stays there longer than a few monthes i had never been lied to more by any company. DO NOT DEAL W THIS COMPANY AT ALL
