Dennis Anderson and Buzzard Wise Installed an Automatic Heated Waterer and did NOT follow the directions, I had to pay to have it redone Roundup, Montana

I hired Dennis Anderson on the advice of Buzzard Wise (his partner) to install an automatic heated horse waterer in my corrals.  I gave him the directions from the manufacturer that came with the waterer.  He came out with his bull dozer and did not follow the instructions of the manufacturer.  The waterer was improperly installed, it did not work correctly and when the horses (each of whom weigh over 900 lbs  x 5) would stand on the cement pad which held the waterer, it would list in one corner where it had not been sealed to the ground. It continued to sink into the ground on one corner until I had to call him to come out and take care of it.  He charged me $41 for fittings and used only plastic - about $4 worth.

He came out several times, saw the problem, but would not fix it.  The final time he came out, he broke a water pipe which he had installed and I was left with a pool of water, a hill washing away, and a very unsafe environment for horses.  One of the horses slipped and fell on the icy water that was leaking from the waterer and cut her foot so badly I had to have a vet come and put a cast on her. Dennis efused to come back and fix it.  I had another firm in town install it properly, put rock and dirt on the washed out hill, fill the holes that were left from the flood of water from the pipe that Dennis broke.  

I paid Dennis over $1000 - though he had told me that the job would cost $500-$600 - and the company to clean up his mess cost almost $2000.  He refuses to take any responsibility for his shoddy materials, inept construction work, or negligence in breaking a water pipe.
