what a dumb ass loser this old hag is that does not apparently know sh* about breeding dogs which is so funny that all the breeders these days are giving the vitamins and seeing a 3 time hip dysplastic dog come out with OFA Excellent hips after only 9 mos of vitamins. She has her head so far up her ass she does not know sh*. You can contact many breeders that know about the vitamins and only the loser dumb asses dont know sh* about them and now even the other country breeders are using them too including Natasa at Golden Duck where this dog listed above originally came from. So funny we do the vitamins too and our dogs have OFA Excellent Pennhip 90 percentile when been on the viatmins since 2 years old. I did my own reasearch on this very dog myself and both times this dog was sedated with same exact med and nothing was different not even the Vet which this vet himself has been told about the vitamins too and is a firm believer of them himself. Shows how much this old haggy lady knows about clearances and breeding dogs and making judgements on breeders that have bred over 25 years and what theuy all know about teh vitamins themselves. She is just stuid because the vitamins may change the results in the readings but NOT the genetics that he is throwing in his puppies. His pennhip is only a 40 percentile so if that is what you want in your puppy if he is to sire yours, watch out HIP DYSPLASIA YES NANCY KNAPP IS ALL ABOUT BREEDING  IT in the offsprings so sadly to say.

In August of this year, I purchased Charlie, a three-year-old male, to be used as a stud dog for my breeding program for a premium price.  At the time I received Charlie, I questioned his low body weight compared to the pictures that had been sent to me prior to my purchase.   I was advised that it was because he ran constantly on their property and ran off all of his weight.  I took Charlie and had a basic check up when I got him home and to also complete a brucellosis test, rabies shot, parasite clearance,etc.  He weighed 79.9 pounds at that time and the vet stated that he was quite a bit underweight with the type of skeletal structure he had vs. his actual body weight.

Charlie seemed to adjust well to my home, but he did not thrive.  He seldom ate, was thin, and seemed depressed. I purchased many different types of food in an attempt to find something that he would eat, but was unsuccessful. Due to the fact that he had just recently travelled extensively with his previous owner as well as experiencing a complete change of his home environment, I wanted to give him a fair chance to adjust since some dogs take more time than others.

After giving him two and a half months to adjust, he continued not to thrive and he was taken to a specialty veterinary clinic for a full evaluation.  After extensive testing, he was tested as heartworm positive.  Since there is no heartworm in the area where I live, and the vet himself has only seen one other case many years ago in a dog that came from the east coast, he repeated the test and got the same results. Although he had tested negative during his first vet visit, it has now been determined that an error was made at the first veterinary clinic where the first test had been done.

The incubation period for heartworm is approximately 6-7 months.  There is a high concentration of heartworm in North Carolina where Charlie lived.  In checking with the person Charlie was purchased from in Serbia, Charlie weighed 43 kilograms at the time he was shipped to the US from Serbia, which is 94.79 lbs and I have pictures to prove this.  At the time Charlie was taken for his first check up two days after I purchased him on August 9, 2011, he weighed 79.9 showing a weight loss of 14.9 lbs from the time he was shipped to the US and when I got him.  I also have pictures of the state he was in. This confirms, without a doubt, that the heartworm infestation took place after coming to the US since she had owned him a little over a year.  If he had come to the US with infestation of heartworm, the person where I purchased him
would have gone back to his previous owner in Serbia to seek resolution for heartworm specifically and she did not. This again, in addition to the incubation period, as well as the dramatic weight loss, serves as proof. 
He is currently undergoing treatment for this in hopes of providing him a long and healthy life.

Charlie has all clearances.and this can be verified through the OFA website.  Hips cannot be changed from a fair to a good rating by giving vitamins. Incorrect positioning can be done during the xray process, which can cause a false reading, but vitamins do not change the formation on the hips of a dog that is over two years old. He has a current rating of OFA GOOD on his hips.  With regard to previous postings regarding his eye clearances.I personally did the CERF exam through a board certified specialist at a CERF clinic.  The specialist stated after extensive evaluation and dilation of his eyes that Charlie had a recent injury to his eye and this is most likely why the person I had purchased him from had not done a current CERF
prior to my purchase.  She specifically said it was not a cataract because it is not on the pupil of the eye but instead on the cornea and had star type transparent lines going from it.  To date, this area is almost completely gone, as she had stated it could be, depending on the type of injury he had received.

Since Charlie was guaranteed by the person in the US where I purchased him, I asked for a refund of my purchase price to help offset the problems and agreed to continue his care and treatment in an attempt to help him become healthy again.  My request was declined stating I did not deserve to have a free dog when in fact, he was guaranteed against health problems and I was simply trying to seek resolution.  Never once was there any type of threat to her.  I simply asked for a refund of my purchase price because of the condition of his health.

At this point, it is up in the air as to whether Charlie will ever be able to sire a litter of puppies.  If he can, I will be proud to have his puppies knowing that first of all, he has all of his US clearances.OFA GOOD hips, and his elbows, eyes and heart are also cleared. He is genetically sound as well because of the care that went into his breeding. Since a practitioner instead of a cardiologist did his heart, I will have it re-checked and certified prior to breeding by my cardiologist. There is no history of any type of genetic defects such as this. In addition, I will know that I was able to take him from the condition he was in when I purchased him to being in optimum health, which will be another huge accomplishment and what Charlie deserved.  There would be no reason whatsoever that a potential puppy/dog owner would not want to have one of his puppies if we can get to that point.

Interestingly enough, although according to the negative posting and information about Charlie on this site about how no one should purchase a puppy sired by Charlie, this person currently is advertising puppies
that were sired by him.  She is using all of his accomplishments as selling tools to promote him and yet is
stating how no one should purchase a puppy sired by him on this site.

Another issue I feel compelled to address is that in a previous posting on this site, a reference to using deceased family members to get my way was used.  I would never use my son whose life was unfairly shortened with Muscular Dystrophy to get my way.  I have a memorial page on my website in honor of him and that is all.  My success in my business is due to Eric. He is the one who started my career in the dog world. I would never do anything to show any type of disrespect to him the same as no other mother would of her child.

The person, who has done the negative postings on this site, is the same person without a doubt, hiding behind fictitious names and locations. Posting as someone else is her pattern with other breeders and
people who have either purchased from her or considered purchasing from her and have had problems with her.  We all know who she is.

BTW, Fair is a passing grade with OFA: The hip grades of Excellent, Good and Fair are within normal limits and are given OFA numbers.

If you were giving Charli heartworm medication without having him tested first, you were being grossly negligent and could have killed the dog IF he had heartworms when he came over from Serbia.

Here is proof of fair hip reading on Charlie from original breeder in Serbia sending a dog with having heart worms and bad hips to America knowing he was purchased as a stud dog. Which the breeder knows who she is and has done so many others here wrong in USA too with their pups dying promising replacement dogs and has never went through, she is nothing but a rip off and scam artist...and has ripped them off, her name should be disclosed all over USA so nobody buys from her anymore. A matter of fact her name is Natasa at Golden Duck in Serbia DO NOT BUY FROM HER, just because she shows her dogs she is still a profit organization and does so many of her buyers wrong sending pups with distemper very high bacteria counts infections and I can keep going on if needed. She also sell from underneath you too and promises you certain pups and you get NOTHING in return because she then decides to keep them for herself. And to this day she never replaced the puppy that dies from distemper and how long ago was that?
