Design Savers Plan Promised to cancel my membership for 3 months now, yet still being billed. Ripoff Aurora Colorado

Since September I have been trying to cancel my membership with Design Savers Plan. I had a smooth talking sales person talk me into taking this plan, but as I discovered later, I really did not have much use for it. When I called in September, I was told that it was too late to cancel my membership for October, but that it would take effect for November.

I received my bank statement yesterday and saw that they were still billing me!! This afternoon I called and spoke to an operator. She told me there was nothing she could do about it, but would email her supervisor informing them of the problem. That was not good enough for me. I asked for a telephone number to the "supervisor". I was put on hold a few minutes. I actulally thought they hung up on me. Someone did eventually come to the phone. I asked her what her title was and she told me something to the effect of "team leader". She said she would process the information and cancel my membership. I asked (once again) for a confirmation/cancellation number, but she, as the others, told me they don't give any out. I also asked for a complete refund of my $139.50 for the month of November. She couldn't promise me anything.

I am living on a VERY fixed income and cannot afford to pay for services that I don't use. I am tired of being giving the run around by Design Savers. I won't have them lying to me anymore. I've seen other "rip-off reports" on them, and I want to express my dissatisfaction with them and warn anyone who is potentially interested in signing up with the: BE CAREFUL! In the meantime I need help in resolving this situation.
