Where is Fraiser NOW?
AUTHOR: MS - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Friday, March 01, 2013
Bottom Line: care for animal or person or child is ongoing. It doesn't end when you take possession of any living being. I have a fax machine on 24/7 and have yet to receive any proper documentation of Laura's ridiculous claims. Where is this horrible dog now? Has she given him away? Sent him to a shelter? Some people are just lazy and don't realize that having a puppy requires a bit of work! Fraiser was no exception!
Here is the timeline in which I dealt with Laura's issues.
LAURA OGORZAT UNFIT PUPPY PARENT Laura Ogorzat is a UNFIT puppy parent Here are the details that Laura Ogorzat has failed to mention in her attempt to slander my name. I am clearly NOT a con-artist- she DID get a great dog! (I have a list of references including my vet:) 1. Laura O. purchased a perfectly adorable and healthy puppy from me. The puppy visited my vet for vaccinations and a Texas issued Health Certificate signed by our licensed vet- in order to fly via Continental to NY. 2. MAY 22, 2012 "Fraiser" the puppy was shipped and unfortunately his flight was delayed. This is always stressful for both the puppy and the new owners. Laura sent an email letting me know that Fraiser was late and she was upset. We called Continental and the flight was delayed, at this point there isn't anything we can do about this situation. 3. MAY 23, 2012 Laura O. sends an email stating that Fraiser is a "tripping hazard." She explains that he chases her feet and plays/chews on her toes. She also states that she is concerned for her daughter's well being as she is handicap. She asks to return Fraiser to me. 4. MAY 24, 2012 I replied to Laura's email with a few suggestions: crate training, a phone session with our life long dog trainer, (at our expense) the tether method of using a leash to help direct the puppy's actions. 5. Laura does NOT contact our trainer. (Our trainer provided her cell and email.) 6. MAY 26, 2012 Laura emails and claims that she has fallen because of Fraiser. She claims that she will not keep Fraiser under these circumstances. 7. MAY 26, 2012 I am reluctant to have Fraiser returned to the airline for another long arduous flight and mention to Laura that I have several previous puppy parents in her area and explain that I potentially could re-home Fraiser for her without him having to FLY all the way back. I also mention that having a puppy is sometimes stressful but possibly a board and train facility may be a great option for her at this point. 8. MAY 26, 2012 I contacted 2 of our best puppy parents in NY area. One is VERY interested in adopting Fraiser directly from Laura but is out of town on business and won't be back for a couple of days. He promises to consider and contact her upon returning. Laura does NOT facilitate a meeting for Fraiser to be re-homed. 9. JUNE 6, 2012 Laura claims that Fraiser is ill. At this point this is the FIRST time HIS health is ever mentioned by Laura. She claims he has a cough, worms and an ear infection. Fortunately he had JUST seen the vet before his departure and my vet provided documentation and Texas Health Certificate for Fraiser. She has this puppy since MAY 22ND & mentions his after having him in HER care for 2 weeks! I finally realize that Laura isn't willing to be a proper puppy parent and agree to have her send him back. She states that in his current state she cannot get a health certificate for shipping purposes. It really just makes me sick that I sent this precious puppy to this woman who refuses to step up and provide proper care, proper training and a loving home. 10. Laura has attempted to slander/liable my name and my business. I am a mother, a small business owner and a dog lover. I have been raising dogs for over 6 years- it's a family affair, my kids and family members all pitch in. We cannot imagine our lives without our dogs and puppies. It's unfortunate that Laura isn't happy with her puppy--- but we can honestly say that she is one of one! I wish we could have made her happy but I've learned that there are just some people out there that just won't be happy no matter what. Poor Fraiser, I am sorry Laura is your mom. I promise to be more careful who I send our puppies to so far away. I am including pictures of Fraiser so you can see for yourself how perfect and precious he was just before leaving our care.
Please feel free to email me with any questions you have regarding this review! I can provide ALL the emails from Laura, vet documentation of health, numerous references & tons of photographs! Oh and just an FYI- none of our puppies have ever tested positive for roundworm!!! Ask our vet;)

I don't know what else to say other than this is the truth, it is a free country anyone has the right to buy from whoever they choose. I posted this to make people aware of my experience, I have the records showing the pup had one vaccine, nothing for kennel cough and I have the records from my vet showing what he was treated for. Michelle has my vets address and phone number and never contacted him yet she says I have no proof. She was contacted about all the issues concerning this pup and did nothing about it. Her trainer never produced to me or here on this website the email she sent to me, not Michelle and there was no mention of why my phone calls and voice messages were not returned. I was taken in by Michelle she has a beautiful website and adorable puppies, this was my experience and as they say on the internet buyer beware!
Merry Christmas to all including Michelle

Laura **** has something to prove but doesn't have any documentation

Just so you know, I did email Fraises mom last night. Have not heard from her.
I would tell her to call me. If you want copy and paste my email below and tell her you know for fact, that I did email her and she might want to check her spam filter.
Karen M
Laura **** had FRAISER in her care for 2 weeks and than claims the dog is ill.
She has mentioned cough, worms and an ear infection. These are NOT life threatening regardless of the time line. Parasites are easily treated (continually for the LIFETIME of the dog.) Coughs are common with puppies that travel by AIR (specially delayed flights- when you fly you breathe recycled air & it's common to end up with a cough/cold after flying.) Read up on treating a cough for a puppy- often they clear up on their own without any type of vet intervention. An ear infection isn't life threatening and is simply treated with EPI-OTIC & TRI-OTIC. It's something that all POO mix owners know- the ears must be cleaned out after baths/swimming to avoid ear infections.
Laura hasn't provided any information or documentation of Fraiser's issues--- which as clearly stated on our website/contract we NEVER make guarantees against things we CANNOT guarantee.
Funny how first he's a tripping hazard then 2 weeks later he becomes ILL. Yes of course Fraiser saw my vet before his flight and received a clear bill of health & a Texas Health Certificate (you cannot get one for a sick puppy- fyi.)
I feel so bad for sending Fraiser to such an unfit puppy parent. I think now that Laura rushed into without thinking about the training, responsibility, veterinarian care and commitment a puppy would be at this point in her life. It's just probably too much for someone her age to handle. I promise to be more careful who I send our precious babies to!!!
OH! I also have tons of references--- including my wonderful vet. If you have any questions regarding this ongoing negative review- feel free to email and I'll send you ALL of the documentation, vet records & correspondence. Also if your in Texas and your looking for a fantastic TRAINER- Karen is awesome- She has done AMAZING things with all kinds of dogs! Just email and we can hook ya up with her- she ALWAYS answers her phone/texts/emails and messages!
Have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS:) Puppy Kisses to everyone- except Laura ****!!!

The fact still is that he was very ill. You can blame it on the flight but if he had more than one vaccine before he was sent on the plane he may have been protected and you don't get a bad infestion of round worm from a flight from New Jersey to Texas. The fact of the matter is he was not properly wormed or vaccinated before he was sent to me. He was given nothing to prevent kennel cough. He also would not get an ear infection from a plane ride. That is why I felt compelled to write this report, it was the lack of preventitive measures to keep this pup from being so sick and suffering the way he did not to mention round worm is also contagious to humans especially children. I wanted to protect someone else with children from potentially exposing them to one of these puppies.
The trip hazard she refers to is me being a mother and being very concerned for my daughter that has has 6 back surgeries. The puppy was constantly running after feet to bite them as she tried to move. If she fell it could have been devastating for her. I was afraid of her falling. She talked a good talk but delivered on nothing, not the trainer, not another home. I could not send him back to her because I couldn't get a health certificate for him. I don't know how she got one. She did not give me that option either. Everyone can make their own decision this is my honest encounter and painting me as a bad owner won't help. I have had my other dog that I raised from a pup for 2 years, this pup was sent by airline as well and have had no issuses with her at all. Bottem line is if she can call me a bad owner because I received a sick puppy what does that make her?

Unfortunately not all puppies go to suitable OWNERS.

Laura purchased Fraiser from us and had him shipped via Continental Airlines to NEW JERSEY. We are located in south Texas near San Antonio. Normally shipping is smooth and without incident. Unfortunately for Fraiser his flight was long, arduous and horribly DELAYED. A delayed flight is not only stressful to us but incredibly stressful to a little 9 week old puppy. Laura mentions that this puppy had a cough however he received a complete physical and Texas issued Health Certificate in order to travel on airplane. It is entirely possible he could have gotten a cold/cough from his method of arrival- cargo airline transit. Often after humans fly they will get a cold- specially young children and seniors.
The confusing factor for me with Laura is that Fraiser arrived 5-22-12 (with his health certificate, shot and deworming record) and on 5-23-12 Laura emailed us stating that he was a TRIPPING hazard. We offered a pre-paid phone consultation with our personal dog trainer. We offered our advice on training, crate-training and tether methods. Laura states that she is has made a "very big mistake." She requests to return Fraiser to us via airline. Considering that Fraiser's arrival was delayed and potentially very stressful on him we encouraged Laura to seek the professional help of a trainer- either ours or one nearby her. As outlined in our contract she was at anytime welcome to ship the little guy back, but we felt like it wasn't fair to stick him back on a flight only after just arriving. We contacted 2 of our previous puppy parents in Laura's local area and inquired to see if either would be willing to re-home Fraiser. Laura would not facilitate a meeting.
It's not until JUNE 6th that we start receiving emails from Laura stating that Fraiser has worms and a cough. This 13 days past his arrival date. We simply CANNOT guarantee against parasites or cough/cold. Let us liken it to the arrival of a newborn baby and say that your newborn will never have a stomach ache, virus or headache as long as they shall live. Yes dogs are domesticated, yes they are man's best friend- but they are a living breathing ANIMAL with a mind of their own. We are their keepers, we are responsible for the care and well being- when taking a new puppy into your home you must consider that things WILL happen. The veterinary care is on going for the LIFE of the puppy. Please consider the ongoing care before adopting/purchasing a puppy, Laura obviously didn't consider the training or care of this puppy before purchasing.
I have ALL of Laura's emails and I am more than willing to discuss Frasier's individual situation. It's unfortunate that he ended up in a home like this and we are trying to make sure that new owners are ready for the responsibility of a new baby puppy in their home. Our vet's contact information is also posted on our website.
Thanks for taking the time to read our side of the story. It's really not a fair process to post something about someone without notifying them or giving them the chance to provide documentation. We have ALL the documentation needed to clear this up- in fact we have already managed to clear up other smears made by Laura O of New Jersey!
