Their thug mentality and backhanded "inspirational speeches" have no place in the TV and Film industry, and people need to stop working for them and realize what a poor situation their shoots are. They still owe me for a days pay, and after months of going back and forth I've reported them to the labor board. As I'm sure many others have as well.
Investors should be warned as well. They will take your money, maybe spend a 1/10th of it, then pocket the rest for themselves.
They are deeply corrupt, do not be deceived by their smiling faces and handshakes. Search their history online and see what you dig up.
Also, a Cinematographer I know was on a job once where Gumbs' bodyguard pulled a gun on the sound guy.

Terrence Hatter a true crook from Oakland California, he runs with Desmond Gumbs.
Desmond and Terrence Hatter are both seasoned crooks, they dress nice and come with wild stories and dreams. We were fooled! big time in giving them everything they asked for. We are in the process of taking them to court for a very large amount of money that has never been paid to us for our time. Desmond Gumbs is a real estate scam artist that lives in Danvillle CA or Blackhawk that was last known of. Terrence Hatter is no angel, hes a true conartist and a serious liar, someone is trying to
cover his name but PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR IT. TERRENCE HATTER IS A MONEY TAKER!!! HE LIES AND HAS BEEN TAUGHT WELL BY DESMOND GUMBS, stay clear of Terrence Hatter with any film production or business.
Hes a very low down individual seeking to take from your business. BaD IDEA!
