We have contacted them uncountable times and all they say is, "we are sorry you're unhappy with our services and we will get someone over there immediately to get it fixed and we will reimburse you for the time your system was not working for you and we will give you 3 months free just for your satisfaction"...blah blah blah!!! None of that happened. It was never fixed, we never got any money back or any months free!
They just told us the same thing that I've read of other's reports, we have to pay the rest of our contract to get out of it which is NOT going to happen!! We even tried setting it off to see if we would have the cops show up and nothing happened, no cops not even a phone call from Devcon to see what set the alarm off! They are a worthless piece of crap that does NOT work and they have no right to steal people's money..that is against the law its called FRAUD!
I am currently looking for an attorney to possibly take them to court to get me out of my contract without paying them a dime! Anyone else out there who has had problems with them or is currently having problems with them and want to tell your story, please write back on here so I can print out every report and use it in court and I will be eternally grateful for anyones help and support. No one deserves to be so disrespected and mistreated like this!!

Devcon is a great company. FOr those of you that complain about customers serive go call any company and it is hard to get customer service. Call IBm and you are sent to India for customer service.
Devcon has gone above and beyond the call of duty and for the person that complained about their system in North Dakaota first off Devcon is not and as never been in North Dakota if your going to lie about service( you undercover ADT person) atleast pick a state that the compnay is in. Devcon has a great customer service they go above and beyond compaired to ADT who has the right to raise rates.
For you who complained about the charge of having the company come out to fix something that supposedly went wrong with your system well any security company has the right to charge you to come out if you do not buy the service plan. Shows how stupid you are electronics do go bad from time to time and you do need service calls. Check your facts people.
Look on the BBB ADT has way more negative complaints. One is going to find complaints about different compnanies that is why there are numerous companies out there to deal with. THe only way to know is to experience it yourself like my family and I have and Devcon has been nothing but great compared to the the night mare we had with ADT.
Get your facts right before you file a complaint. Eventhough hafl the people that file the complaints are employees working for a competitor company and normal person knows that it ison the the stupid ones that belive anything that is online. It is ashame that people listend to the stupid ones. Look at car companies any one but anyone knows that Ford stands for Fix or repair daily or Found on road dead but people still buy them because they them.
So your telling me everyone that so called complained on here that if you were to told to jump of a bridge you would do it basically that is what you are saying.
Look ADT is trying to sell the wireless system to people which is a true rip off why do you thing bank have hard wire systems they are more effective that is why. In a wireless systme someone can come in and rip the pad off the wall and then there is nothing but people still buy it.
Devcon is not a fraud and they do not steal peoples moeny like ADT does anyone who is anyone knows that. Who is the the fraud are the ADT employees on here that write false complaints like they did on here and other websites.
Say what you want but I am not a false employee I am a true Devcon customer and would NEVER be an ADT customer again. I deal with the Lombard Illinois office. Look it up and you would find them and all their GREAT employees.

Not only that but my issues with Devcon must be serious enough for an attorney to tell me that I would have a very successful outcome if this ever went to court because I have more than enough evidence that concludes that they are not serving their customers as their contract states they should if they expect to get paid and they are not meeting those requirements. So seriously unless you have something to actually complain about that doesn't include immaturely complaining about other peoples' complaints (that have nothing to do with you by the way) and trying to write a novel about how you "think" people don't have the right to complain about being treated unfairly, you may as well just get off this site and find something a little more productive to do with your life than annoy people with your ignorance!

In regards to the individuals who've posted saying that their system has never worked, I've had very few issues and have had service technicians quickly assert and correct any problems I've had. When they come out to my home or business they are always prompt to do so, are extremely professional and seem legitimately concerned about satisfying my needs as a customer. If you've had a bad experience in the way that you describe it's been significantly different than mine. File a complaint with the BBB if your that I satisfied. They have a lot more power to help you sort through business complaints and issues.
