Develop Inc. is a fraudualin company. When I went there for an interview I had asked a series of qustions, mainly about how the pay worked. I was informed that the pay was both base and comition, it all depended on which of the two was a higher amount. I was given the same answer during the second and third interview as well.
When I started employment I was told just the opposite. I would only be paid a base pay for the first day then it was all commition. I informed the suporvisor Kim of what I had been told in the interviews and she said that it only works that way for certain events; which is NOT what they told me in the interview. Thus, I was misinformed.
Also, on my first day I signed a paper that upon leaving the company I would be given my pay in the same day. It has been a week and a half and I have still not recieved my check. When I called the first time Kim never returned my call. Then the second time I called and discussed the issue with her and she was very unperfesional in the sence that she did not want to nor did she care to solve the problem and she definatly acted as if she did not want to hear the problem. She then began to interupt me and to act as if I just heard incorrectly; which is not the case because I noted everything that was said to me in the interviews'including the names of the people I interviewed with, and I also noted what was stated to me on the first day.
This company does not pay you for the wasted time you spend in orriantation, just watching them have a meeting and talk about sales pitches.
Also, I am not the only person that feels this way. In fact many of the employees that I spoke with felt the same way and where debating about quiting. The problem is that the company attempts to brainwash their employees, by making them think that this job is the best job in the world and that a regular office job will get them no where. They promise that if you stick with it at the end of the year you will make 100k a year. There is only one problem with that, most of the product does not sell. The two days that I was out on the field I did not sell anything. On the second day not even the trainer sold anything.
Finally, the company also lies to the consumers. The first weeks on the job the employees go to various gas stations around the state to try and offer winshield chip repairs. 90% of the time people would rather go to a perfesional to have the chip repaired. While in the field you are told to tell the consumers that you work for chipeo auto glass and repair; which is not true, you work for Develop Inc. Thus, the company is misinforming the consumers on what company they are. They also have the employees give the consumer a warrenty from chipeo and not directly form de velop inc.
This company is a scam and they trigger young college graduates. You can help prevent them from doing scaming and misleading innocent people by stating any bad experiences that you have had with this company or by stating problems that people you might know have had with this company. This company needs to and deserves to get shut down and Larissa Hawley, Kim and all the other big namers in this company should serve time in prison for fraud. Please do not work for this company and please do not even reply to their listing on career builder or any other website. Their idea of buisness is a joke. They should never have messed with this girl because I will make sure that they are exposed publicly for the scam that they are and they can take that to the bank.
