Dex Media DEX Phonebook They are billing us and we never signed a contract. OVERLAND PARK, Kansas

DEX is trying to charge me for being in the phonebook even though no one signed any contract for this. They say they have a verbal one but cant provide it when requested. DEX put us in the phone book in a city hours from us, put us in a catagory of which we do not have any part of, and when they gave us the contact name they provided the name that is on our brochures. That name is ficticious and only allows us to know where that lead came from. We have different names on brochures in different areas, different names on advertisments also. Yet DEX claims they have the right name and even a SSN of this ficticious person.

I went online and found pages upon pages of people having this same problem and it all involves DEX only. Also I called DEX just to see why the charges were so high and talked to a sales rep who said it was only $56 to be put in the book. Not once did they admit it was $56 a month instead of a year and when I brought it up he changed the subject real quick twice. Talk about deceptive sales. I have been fighting with DEX for months now and the FL State Attorneys office is already very aware of these problems along with the BBB who wont do a thing about it. But if you go on the BBB and check out DEX you will notice it has a F rating? My company has A+ rating. So who is the lying thief here? Can we all say DEX?
