DON'T DO IT
Their Athens Call Center presented me with a nightmare experience.
The employee is subjected to Gestapo-Like work conditions where the rewards for good work is continued, unrelenting harassment. For me, it was intolerable. My supervisor, Shamiya Brown was shameful, inappropriate and quite literally stupid in her management style and drove many to tears (they turn over 50% of their workforce annually according to an inside source) because they felt they could not find an $8 per hour job somewhere, indeed anywhere.
Other up-line managers were no better including, Jack Bryant, recruiter, and an outright teller of a continuous trail of lies, Pamela Randazzo, personnel manager, an uncaring imbecile, James Godinis, shift manager, a and very forgettable disgrace to his job and Matt Donaldson, call center manager, a wimp with no backbone.
And finally, and in many ways the worst, Arthur Conroy, company owner, the man responsible and accountable for this ruthless and despicable company. I implore you DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY. YOU WILL REGRET IT. Feel free to contact me with any questions or similar experiences.

I recently celebrated my 100th day at Dial America, got the luncheon and so forth, unbeknownst them I was leaving in an hour for a better paying position just four doors down from them. Of course, the other company hired me on the spot. As for Dial America, they hire anybody and then they put people in leadership that don't have leadership ability. I mean these people can care less about policy or decency. I worked for the Rochester NY branch and I am telling you, what a waste of investment in these people. There is no way that SiriusXM should be using these people. The majority of them are on drugs. Everyday, all I could smell was marijuana. They talk about being a professional office, but I have never heard of a company that doesn't enforce a drug policy, but they enforce a clean desk policy? That means no fat snacks. Those funky $8.00 an hour isn't jack considering it's a part time job. You have to make sales or your out of a job and when you ask a team leader to help you, they say they will spend time with you or work with you so that you can make sales, but they don't. Then they put you in the retarded group if your not making sales. I have spoken to a lot of agents who were put in this group when your sales are are low, including myself. We all have agreed that it doesn't help. What they do is put you in the kiddie pool, the easy sales and it brings your sales up, but then when your sales comes up, they put you back in the group that you had trouble making sales in with no better results. I have seen people being fired after a few weeks of this mess, because sales were still falling short. It would be so much better to stick these agents with agents that have skill, so that they can learn what to do and not do.
Another thing, they will cheat you out of your pay. You have to watch your hours and pay rate. My last check, they cheated me, but I didn't care because the new job makes up for so much that it wasn't worth getting into. I was just glad to be gone! There so much sexual flirtation that there could be so many sexual harassment lawsuits to put these people out of business, but then again they hire these jokers with nothing between their ears that it just doesn't matter. It's a pitiful company.
