Beware of DAT in Hawaii. This company will lie to you. Russell targeted our neighborhood when a National Alarm Company had just sold us and a few neighbors new alarms. Russell told us to cancel the first contact we signed for the other system and monitor service because there would be no penalty and theirs was better. I didn't learn until after we did so, that DAT's system and Monitor Service was substandard to the other company, and today I found out that he lied to me about the "cancellation" clause and now I have two contracts we have to pay for or we could be sued by the first company. This was a total SHAM. I am so mad that I even let them in my house, much less believed a word they said. DON'T let them fool you. The are CONMEN.

ADT ALARM (PRO-TEK SECURITY) CHARACTER DEFAMATION

AUTHOR: Rhino - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, February 06, 2013

Please be advised that this article was posted by ADT ALARM (PRO-TEK SECURITY) in Hawaii. For the past year ADT has been losing sales to Digital Alarm Technology as a result of of the outstanding customer service and excellent equipment and monitoring we provide. They have resorted to numerous sales tactics to somehow overcome this deficiency on their part. From pressuring people on letting them into their homes ASAP or sparing a 'few minutes' of their time (as they are moving personal belongings into a new home even), to scaring them into considering a security system because a 'random' neighbor was recently burglarized, to even waving their installation fee from $199 to $0 (but installing inferior equipment). This post from 1/23/13 however, takes the cake! In our ever changing and competitive world, companies or individuals should try to hone and perfect THEIR skills and talents and not slander or defame the character of their competitor. For further confirmation on the lack of merit of ADT's post of frustration and desperation, go to BBB.com and note our excellent rating. Or call us at any time to see for yourself why our account base and installations keep growing daily. Testimonials may also be provided by our totally satisfied customers. Aloha
