Yesterday, 05/22/06, I was approached by two guys in a Circuit City parking lot. They came out of a gold SUV and explained that they had been working deliveries and received more equipement than needed (sound system). If these items were to be returned, their "boss" would keep them for himself, as he had already done with the plasma TV the previous time this had happened. The "suggested retail value" was around $5,000 for the items i had purchased for $600. When i got home, they were worth approximately for what i got them for. (NOT 5K!!!) The speakers looked nice... the stickers, the packaging, the invoice signed off by the recipient of the original order, business cards, it was too good to be true... When i got home i checked the web to learn more about their company and the speakers, and to my surprise found more than one complaint about these guys! They were using the same sales tacticts coast to coast! This is a big scam and they need to be stopped! I purchased the sound system just yesterday, I am assuming they are still in the Sacramento area. They are posing as college students and chances are, they probably won't bother changing their story to sucker in someone else.
Beware of these ***holes; I know i learned my lesson...

You said you feel like they are worth what you piad for them, so what is the problem? It sounds to me like you are just mad that they lied to you. I think you really wanted the speakers to be stolen or something that. So who is the real crook here? It sounds like you. If you were such a great person you would not want to buy something that "fell of the truck". You would call the police.
