This company is riddled with liars, rude CSRs & people willing to modify orders committing credit card fraud. I placed an order on 10/16/2012, called as per the instructions in the e-mail confirmation and in that phone call was advised the lens I ordered was out of stock & another better one was available. I decided to go ahead with that order against my better judgement but the card I had on me was expired. The salesman was supposed to call back in an hour to get the new number but did not. Overnight I had time to research the lens I was told about & decided it was cheap both in value & in quality so I got back online 10/17/2012 & reordered (new order #) the original lens with a different credit card. When I received the confirmation e-mail, the other lens was on the confirmation at $400+ more than the lens I ordered. I called my card company to make sure the charge wouldn't be processed & together we called Digital Depot. After a lengthy, rude discussion we were told they would make the order right by sending what I originally ordered with free shipping, a 3 piece lens kit and 5 year warranty. Today following up with them, I was advised they can refuse service to anyone - they are not going to make good on their word - & they hung up on me. For the record, the lens that was supposedly out of stock was included in a blast sales e-mail on Sat. 10/21/2012 as an in stock item on sale for 10% off.

This repost was originally filed against Digital Deport Online (Why would I file a report against myself) Somehow they were able to hack my password, change the report & change the email address/login so I could not revise it. I will be finling a complaint with this site's adminstrator to see if post can be corrected & see if there is additional action that can be taken against this obviously fraudulant, dishonest, vindicitve company. Greg, are you listening? You've crossed a line.
I will be filing this report again against Digital Depot Online under my new account, but to bring this complaint up to speed, one of my credit card companies contacted me yesterday & advised that Digital Depot Online attempted to charge that card not once, not twice, but three times. The third time was for an unauthorized amount that I was completely unaware of. I'm assuming it was for a restocking fee of an order that was never placed. The credit card company is advising that I seek fraudulant activity action againt the company, but since I have something going on with a bigger card with them, I declined for now.
Please also note that they tried 3 times to get me to revise my rating on resellerratings.com from 1 star to 5 stars, which against that site's terms of service. I have documentaion of all three offers, none of which were acceptable. Altering my original complaint on this site so that it shows the complaint is against me and changing my log in so I could not fix the adjustment was the last straw.
