Before you purchase your replacement diploma from this company, please read my experience carefully before you waste your money like I did.

I am a young professional, and I hold a PhD in Psychology from a respected school on the East Coast. I graduated in the spring of 2009, and have yet to receive my diploma. I only have the fake diploma issued to me on graduation. So, I contacted Diploma Company (www.diplomacompany.com) for a copy of my school's diploma to hang on my wall. My plan was to keep my original at home, and use the novelty diploma at work.

I spent over $400.00 with Diploma Company, and I received garbage. When I received my package from FedEx, I was so excited! I tore it open like a kid opening a present on Christmas Day! When I finally saw what I spent $400.00 on, my heart sank like a rock.

I was told that I would receive the official replica of the school's diploma with actual seal and a copy of my transcripts. A friend of mine received her real diploma from the school, and what I received from Diplomacompany.com looked nothing like the original. The "seal" on my diploma was printed on with what appeared to be an inkjet printer. The quality was terrible, the images were fuzzy, so I called to complain and receive a refund. I was told that I wouldn't receive a refund "Just becuase it doesn't look real enough." I told them that it didn't look like a real diploma at all, I could have done this at home. They talked me into paying to have my diploma reprinted and they could offer me a gold seal for $75.00. I reluctantly agreed, though I should have listened to my gut instinct. I made sure to ask "This is a gold seal that's raised off the paper?" He said "YES." I waited 6 more days, and I received my new diploma. Ripped off again!

When I opened my new diploma, not only was the paper color and size wrong, but my "raised seal" was a cheesy shiny flat gold seal with black speckles all in it. I called DiplomaCompany again, and was told that they don't offer raised seals, only flat foil seal. I asked why I was told I would receive a raised, and was told that he never agreed to that. When I persisted that he did agree to that, or I never would've paid more money, he replied with, "I bet you can't prove it."

I bet you can't prove it? Are you serious!? I immediately asked that my money be returned to me, and was told that unless I could prove I was told there would be a raised seal, I couldn't have any of my money back, not even my reprint or shipping fees.

I tried emailing because my future calls would be "disconnected" once I told them who I was, and all my emails went unanswered.

So, here I am, out of almost $500.00 total, and still left with nothing to show for my years of hard work. I suppose I'll just wait for the school to eventually send me my diploma, and I'll use my documents from www.diplomacompany.com to start my logs in the fireplace this winter. At least they'll be good for something.

Please save your money and your sanity. If you find yourself in my position and need a copy of your diploma fast, don't use Diploma Company.

Any proof?

AUTHOR: Tim Johnson - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, February 24, 2012

Well, if you feel most of these rants lack any real proof, I suggest you check out my fake diploma review blog. To make a long story short, nobody stole my money and sent me nothing. And no I was never arrested or deported.

I created my review site after reading a lot of shocking comments about many fake diploma websites like phony diploma and nd-center and next day diplomas. You name it, somebody has something awful to say about everybody. Figured some folks here might find this helpful.

Tim

My email is on my site if you want to speak to me directly. I try to make time to minitor my site with my wife.

Doesn't Add Up.

I read this online and there seem to be a complaint about every company that sells diplomas anywhere I looked online. I did decide to purchase a diploma from my former high school that I attended. They didn't have copies available for diplomas but transcripts were. In my home office I wanted a diploma for the wall and not my transcripts. Simple as that.

I took a gamble and ordered it. It came in as described and looks fine. The seal is embossed off the paper and the paper is thick parchment paper. Ink quality is very dark and looks great.

Also, when reading the original post the first time the "consumer" was from Pennsylvania and now they our from Virginia. Sounds more like a competitor and not a consumer. Thought I had to write something since I liked my diploma and the service was great.

I should have used better judgement

AUTHOR: Bamboozled - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, October 05, 2009

Perhaps I should have used better judgement, but like I'd mentioned, I wanted a diploma to hang on my wall at work and leave my original in my filing cabinet at home.  This way, if something happens to the novelty degree, I still have my original at home.  I don't owe Penn State any money, I attended the school using mainly grants for tuition.

I contacted the school on Friday and apparently my diploma has already been sent.  I've moved closer to family, so I have to have it resent to my new address.

My entire purpose for this report was to warn others, no matter what their situation.  I wanted revenge on this company stealing my $400.00 and as far as I'm concerned, I got it.

Thanks.

You have a PhD?

And you had no idea that blatantly advertises FAKE diploma's on their site might not provide you with exact replicas...Umm...

Perhaps that is the reason you are not mentioning the respected East Coast School you graduated from.   I also can't see why you were in a rush to have a diploma "displayed".

If you want a duplicate diploma or transcripts you just contact the school and order them.  The cost would be a fraction of what they charged you and you wouldn't get a copy you would get an official version.  Of course if you are in arrears with the school they won't send you your diploma(even your first one) or transcripts.  So if you are trying to get around owing your school money, perhaps you should have used that $400 to pay them.

This sounds fishy

AUTHOR: Inspector - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, October 02, 2009

If you are truly educated you would have know better than to use a company called 'diplomacompany.com', why didn't you just use 'diplomamill.com"?

When I lost my diploma, I emailed the institution and they sent an original for $45 plus shipping.

Why don't you tell us the name of your respected university on the east coast?
