I have read a lot of complaints about Directv as a service. But I want to list a complaint on Directv as an Employer. 

Directv not only falsely advertises great services but they falsely proclaim themselves as a great company to work for. They are trained to entice prospects with great and wonderful bonuses. What they don't tell you is, if you actually help a customer in resolving their issue, you will be penalized.

They offer great benefits and bonuses but when you go to collect on these benefits/bonuses, the information is so elusive and complicated that you get so mentally exhausted trying to collect them, you finally just drop the issue.

Point in case, if you are an employee with a disability and you try to enforce your right to use your benefits, the process is so evasive and complicated that a person will likely give up before any action can be taken. And by then, the damage is done.

Directv literally trains their new employees on how to convince a customer that they have to chew glass and like it and there is no alternative. The reason for so many complaints, as a customer or employee, is that these processes are designed to fail. Directv actually hire people to design ways to fail the customer/employee. As long as your money is sitting in a bank, it is drawing interest which is not benefiting the customer/employee, it only benefits Directv. They DO NOT pass this on to the employee/customer.

I have filed a complaint with the EEOC and like with many others they are dragging their feet as well.

I don't know how to even start this process or what my options are, but I would be interested in starting or joining a group who is looking for people to help bring Directv to justice.

I am not wanting anything that I am not entitled to. But understand, because of Directv's underhanded practices I have lost a lot of money. I'm just trying to recover some of the damage that Directv has caused me and help others as well.

people please beware of other people trying to contact you wanting to help you resolve your issue.  whoever this mthomas is, she is not someone who wants to help me.  she never responded to my return email.  she lives in the same county as the directv call cntr, so she is probably investigating all of these very nasty, but true post about directv.  this is just another example of how directv WILL screw you over.
