I called Direct express...to check my balance. Ther proceeded to tell me my Birthday is wrong! Then they had me answer "random" questions to verify who I am. No normal questions like Mothers Maiden name or anything. Instaed, she asked me about an address I loved at over 22 yrs. ago-because I can't remeber the house numbers exactly, I have to send in all this info. to prove who I am!!! Meanwhile, I have NO mney to do that! Let alone pay my bills on time. My rent alone, due today, is going to cost me another 50.00 late fee-I don't have...I am out of town too! I am liable to get kicked out-Electric-phone turned off-no money to buy food. This is my money. I never asked for this stupid card to begin with and I have NEVER been treated so "nasty" by customer service in my life! @ of them. First a rude woman-and even ruder man! Plus, they are trying to kill us with fees for any and everything that has to do with this card. Theres a fee for everyting! Like I can afford that anyways...I am scared, don't know what to do. :( I seriously feel run over by a dump truck...and they don't care. I have done NOTHING wrong to have this happen. When I activated this card 2 months ago...there was no problem. This is the 1st month the card is actually useable, but they are NOW saying...my D.O.B. is incorrect! HELP PLEASE!!!
