Direct General Insurance Not paying the full costs from loss Tampa Florida
Date of loss was December 3, 2013. A Direct General customer wrecked into my business bus as the bus was going through a round-about. The bus took a direct hit to the back wheel. The individual (child) in the seat above the wheel well hit the window so hard her nose started to bleed. Due to the nature of my business this bus needed to be taken out of service and inspected. It took over a week before someone from Direct responded to the claim. Direct did send a check 15 days after the date of loss for the bus repairs but has not responded or paid for vehicle reimbursement for the time the bus was inspected and repaired. Nor have they reponsed to the medical costs for the childs doctors visit.
